We reasoned possibly better prior to the bible, who’s faith had the desire to stop us thinking and let god do it for us. Thereafter god didn’t do it for us and we turned one again to reason; science and philosophy.
There is only ‘the natural operation of human reason’, one book or another can be no more than a part of that. In this case one that un-check’s its progress.

I don't know what the 'natural operation' of reason is, but this fits with Christianity's judgments of nature.
Would then reason that is checked by the Bible be unnatural reason?
