Menders

Our world is torn;
We must be menders–
Brothers, builders and befrienders.
Tho the slayers’ evil slashes
Flay our world to grievous gashes,
We must mend and employ
Needles of kindness
And threads of joy.

Nice one.

Thanks, Dan.
The poem was entered in a college poetry contest and won 1st place. Now that I’m a bit older, I still believe its message.

Yes, it is a poem with a warm glow, and a welcome message, and pray more would ascribe to it.
