Strange news

Other separate species in small isolated incidences but not of their own species like that of examples found in human beings.

Human cruelty is unique amongst all the animal species of the world.

Only because we use tools. Tools are the only difference.

That’s part of the story but not all of it, in reality human beings thrive on cruelty towards one another.

Some yes, some no. Most is due to competition , territorial instincts running amok. And that too is natural. With a more active brain an evolving young species that is highly populated and integrating cultures, looks , and beliefs, you will get mental illness. Of course there is the physical illnesses that cause mental illness as well.
You can say we are vastly different but, at the core, no. Brains, emotions , time to kill all creates what we see as bad behavior.

Children in a school in Peru have become victims of strange goings on last month. They became lethargic at times, fallen into unconscious states, and exhibited convulsions. There were 100 of them, and they reported , upon becoming conscious, the presence of a strange black hooded man who ran after them, with the intention of killing them.

Some claimed a massive demonic possession, others, a reaction to terrorist attacks in the town with open view of unburied body parts, making grave impressions on the kids.

The children’s forthright honesty with coming out with the story, made even the most incredulous into believers.

Do You see an unsuccessful cultural integration as conduit to mental illness, or the appearance of successful integration?

The additional factor of hyperbolic rate of intelligence added to the mix, enhances, or detracts from unset in teen aged persons, who are very prone, anyway, to many forms of expressed and implied mental problems.

The curious issues of suicide do to bullying, may be an example of acting out inner confusion, of the above dynamics.

Peru? Was it a mountain village? Prolonged exposure to released earth gases or underground fumes of a mountain can have hallucinative effects. It is well documented in mountainous regions of the world.

But all identical hallucinations?

Mass psychosis in children is rare. There is a recorded case in Portugal, where 3 children saw religious visions. Other then that there seems to be no known recorded cases of such a large assemblage.

Such things are generally easily explained as Ha pointed out. Children all attend a function such as school or church, get emotionally charged and fumes from local gases create a similar hallucination. Let’s put it this way: if a God wanted to make an impact it would not choose such people that live in so vulnerable places. It would go for the least. The most sceptic, the ones safest from natural chemicals and man made chemicals.

What if God tried the rational approach as you describe it, and everyone said “Fuck this guy” and started Sodomizing and Gamorrahizing (Whatever it was, it wasn’t good) each other, till nobody was left, so God said Fuck it, I’m starting over, and drowned everyone… and the second time around found the idiotic little people responded better to mass visions like this.

Wouldn’t it then be a little presumptuous on your part K to dictate the most logical course of action, if the guy has a track record of showing a willingness to get his ideas across several platforms. Just you wait for God’s Twitter Feed.Snub your nose all you want, but fair is fair… he tried it your way and it clearly didn’t work. He did the scary thunder, throwing, quite strolls chatting people up in gardens, visions, prophets, plagues, even crucifiction on one message run. God is nothing if not variable in his approach for delivering messages. Thing is, when people see Jesus on Toast, they listen, and that is far less painful than bring crucified. Draws similar numbers… what is not to like? Simple marketing strategies from the Creator up above.

@ Jerkey.

I don’t see what the social stigma of grave digging is.

They are already dead.

It’s comical people still think this way in 2016.

Yes, you gotta blame it on literacy or something.

Superstition.

Literacy is not a superstition.

But what if it’s something? Else superstition would not mean anything…Hmmmmmmmmmm…

The charge of superstition is the denigration of another’s dogmata, through the objectification of presumed and logically affirmed presumptions regarding a subject’s orientation and response in discerning and explaining active stimuli, in second and third person view, expressed linguistically, of the supposed supplication of a subjectively ordered series of suppositions of axiomatic priorities they supposedly possess, and use in the described order, regarding how one accepts and rejects reality, and the linguistic prescriptions of ideas associated with the ideas, and the baselessness of the faith in continuing to affirm these axiomatic rules despite evidence to the contrary, in the form of sensory information and the ability to reject these beliefs through elementary reasoning.

It is used successfully by bigots to denigrate others, affirming their own dogmata paradoxially, which they often can’t perceive as being similar and even more limited, despite the steps they take in socially mocking others, thereby illuminating, solidifying, and affirming their stages of thinking, by claiming it to belong to the superstition of it’s target. The rhetorical suppositions fossilize, and become meme like, and the complexity of the host subject matter’s range of belief is rarely, if ever tested for accuracy once this stage is reached.

Root Function in MBTI, Extraverted Sensing. Judgment and Perceiving juxtaposition in relative magnitude to Feeling and Thinking.

Aristotle’s geometric suppositions regarding geometry and identity applies, given the Extraverted Sensing and Thinking Perceiving, juxtaposotioned to Feeling Judgment once the parallels are recognized.

The Cynic Holy Fool & Trickster, The Searching Blundering Fool in a Bildungsroman, Group Search for a Holy Grail can beat the formulations.

If left unchecked, the assertion of another’s beliefs as mere superstition leads to scientism and superiority complexes in those possessing and asserting these views, limits the scope of Theory of Mind investigations, and limits cultural and scientific growth, and leads to the inevitably of class schisms if the insistence of superstition beliefs exist in others persists.

Logic doesn’t undermine superstition, as the subject of superstitions are default logical, given they are constructs of dogmata. If it can only be refuted from a second or third person’s point of perception, then the so calked superstition remains misunderstood and therefore the diagnostic logic in doubt. If the system is understood fully, and rejection, it takes the form of identifying as “OTHER”, through Extraveryed Sensing and Introverted Intuition, an examination of self hood, through different neural feedback loops. The two states are not simultaneous, so can’t be a appropriate judge of the other.

As of the Early 21st Century, superstitious prejudice in academia and among so called intellectuals who really should know better remains one of the leading problems confronting the progress of philosophy. The Scientism of Dawkings and backwards worldview of others as mere superstition as an example. One cannot reject a superstition without forming one. Solipstic shells threaten to undermine divisions between self, ideas, and active parties. Yet, it can still be systematically mapped, objectified, and affirmed, even if the macrotheory itself is heavily ridden by bias and suppositions itself. Case in point, calling the Right Temporal Lobe the “God Center” or “Religious Center” of the mind, using a God Helmet to study it, thereby asserting the rest of the mind is Athiestic and reasonable, amoral and beyond good and evil, despite religions since ancients times developing very similar and as broad psychological theories of the mind into it’s religious world view. One can objectify a method while remaining in the full pull of superstitions themselves, thus the ever present taint of Scientism. No one is immune to it, and I caution against forming a methodology completely removed form fallibility and subjectivity, a healthy hybrid should exist for empathy and intuition in scientific thought, not rigid in personal methodology, which is perhaps the mist absurd approach to take to studying someone’s inner world. Risk of a Jungian concept of Transference exists when scientism is suppressed, and approached intuitively. When Methodology simultaneously explored, projection. If Pure Extroverted Sensing and Judgmental Feelings, Denigration and Superiority Complexes Emerge, Hijacking Thinking and Perceiving logical sequencing, and healthy ability of Introverted Sensing to “Know Thyself, To Know The Other, and all the things between.”
