Just discovered The Black Keys, and wow. Incredible!
What's the matter, you dissentious rogues,
That, rubbing the poor itch of your opinion,
Make yourselves scabs?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYXjLbMZ ... ure=relmfu - I defy anyone to dislike this tune... and it even accompanies an ad for a computer game no less...

I don't like it - and I hasten to add that it's not therefor bad, but merely that it doesn't agree with my aesthetic.

...a fair critique - is it not your genre of music, hence the dislike? I'm kinda transfixed by his voice and by the video simultaneously... and also by the advert too.

With the exception of what is generally termed 'dubstep', I don't like to discriminate by genre. He's got a good voice which he controls well and the music itself isn't awful. Unfortunately, I'm usually not fond of male vocalists in the English language as I tend to be turned off by the lyrics. Cedric Bixler, Hendrix, Dean Bowman, Brad Nowell, the guy from Muse, and Mike Patton are a few notable exceptions outside of jazz (my main interest).

I should like to note that the cinematography was top notch.

I'm not really a fan of dancing either, but I admire their physical prowess.

This town dont feel mine
I'm fast to get away-FAR

I dressed you in her clothes
Now drive me far - away, away, away

It feels good to know your mine
Now drive me far - away, away, away
FAR away
I dont care where just FAR - away
And I dont care

FAR - away
And I dont care where just FAR - away

That used to be my favorite Deftones song in high school, but I haven't really listened to them since.

I liked house of flies quite a bit. That song they did with Maynard is good too.
