I need help deciding what verse should end a song, please vote:
Maybe if you’d just whisper to me,
Maybe I’d start to listen anew;

I like this one. I can hear dynamics - soft on the first like, maybe even a “whisper”. Then as hope builds in the second line, so does the volume. A little louder on the third line, and the triumphant, ebullient last line, a fitting crescendo for the end of the song.
Jesus Christ, that’s fucking brilliant! I’ll tell you this Faust, if I should ever be so fortunate as to make an album, I’m crediting you as a co-writer of the song.
