Anybody else a big fan of his work? I’m just floored by his talent and his approach to music.
For those who don’t know, Steve Albini is mostly known for being a recording engineer / sound consultant / producer of albums (he likes to call himself a recording engineer, but people who hire him tend to hire him for more than that role). Wikipedia has this to say about how prolific he is:
If anybody else wants to show love for mr Albini, post in this thread. Also feel free to post any songs that he produced that you like (at least be pretty sure he produced them before you post. Don’t just assume that because a band’s name is on the list, he produced every song by them, as that’s probably not the case). He’s also been in a few bands, so post their songs too if you like 'em.
