Paranoia

Paranoia is an apt title. Occupy Wall Street meets corporate espionage, with the story being a one-dimensional wish fulfillment of prey become predator. The young man goes out into the world to make his mark, sells out and is exploited, atones for his sins via self-sacrifice into the arms of the law, who in turn bring justice to those false idols and forgiveness to the son. Son returns home knowing his place and all is well in the world with the right hand of God satiated.

“It’s not the roof that matters, it’s the warm fuzzy feeling of the home under it. People are so distracted these days they don’t know who they are, but we will, we’ll know them better than they know themselves.”

Spoken by the CEO, or whatever, of iConn (iCon) regarding surveillance and colection of private data, but in the end, practiced/enforced by the FBI, the law - justice, as the roof under which wayward sons and daughters must know their place.
