The Delusional Left Right Paradigm Of Politics

Postby James L Walker » Tue May 22, 2012 4:46 pm

I think the whole left - right paradigm of modern politics is entirely delusional.

Whether it be opposite extremes of a deeply communist nation towards a fascist free market capitalist one the result is the same of government oppressing the people it reigns over. Tyranny unites both.

I make this thread for those who still believe in the phony left right paradigm to make their case as to why they think there is relevance in distinguishing leftist and rightist politics.

Imho, the real dividing line is not between left and right, but between the insane extremes of both sides, and the somewhat sane folks near the middle.

Can you please explain that in more depth?

If you look at the history of communism and capitalism in both instances the financial elites benefit in both organized systems.

The only difference is the means in which they control, subjugate, and oppress the people.

In both capitalism and communism there have been extreme fanatics. That's one group, the nuts.

In both capitalism and communism there have been reasonable sane people who appreciate that some combination of the two is necessary. Most of the world now agrees on this, and the remaining debates are at the margins of this compromise.

I'm not interested in the victim pose stuff, so I'll pass on that.

Modern China could be called a combination of communism and capitalism yet it is no less oppressive of it's citizenry.

In my humble opinion as a anarchist the whole left right paradigm is a way for the government to trick the populance into believing in it's phony progressivism without admitting that it's very existence is the problem.

It puts out the phony options of opposite extremes like that of communism on one hand with capitalism on the other in order to make people believe that they have choices nevermind that in both instances the outcome of tyranny will be the same.

The problem is government world wide. The whole left - right paradigm is a dog and pony show used to subdue the masses.

In this case anarchists are spot on in criticizing all forms of government instead of criticizing a few while favoring others.

Also, what did you mean in victim pose stuff? Explain.

Cowering out of conversation or a debate I see. Be gone then.
