I discovered this in my FEMM video.

Is that because most of the surface area is magnetic… as opposed to the others?

My brother, when he was very young, took a pee with a magnet in his pocket which fell in and cracked the bowl in half… my dad thought the toilet broke of its own accord, and would cuss about the bad workmanship of the old toilet whenever he remembered about the random toilet breakage.

Nah, it was a really heavy magnet… I asked him couldn’t he have carried a smaller one around, then the toilet might have survived the impact… he said nah.
