Now the fun begins as the objectivists on both ends of the political spectrum reconfigure Robert Mueller. Call it the James Comey Syndrome.

For the folks at MSNBC, Comey was the goat when he helped to upend the Clinton campaign, and then became the hero after Trump dumped him.

For the folks at FOX, Comey was the hero when helped to upend the Clinton campaign, and then became the goat after he was dumped by Trump.

At MSNBC, Mueller was hailed as the man who would save our democracy. While over at FOX, he and his "witch hunt" team were excoriated at every opportunity.

But that's what political objectivists do: they hammer the facts into their narrative.

Now everything is more or less reversed.

Oh, yeah, almost forgot: assuming that Barr's rendition of the Mueller report is reasonably in sync with what Mueller actually sent him.

Fox has now confirmed my point. With MSNBC though it's trickier. For one thing they have a hell of a lot more intellectual integrity than the feckless Fox pundits.

You know in my opinion. If only "here and now". ... l?ref=home
