Time After Judgment Day

When death has occurred, is there an instantaneous path to Heaven/Hell or is there a waiting period until “Judgment Day?” If so, then why does it occur and in what form (such as a dream, coma, etc.)?

∆ [O] Judgment Day has been referred to as the ultimate test of the soul at the end of the human life. In Revelations God is to raise the dead from their graves to perform the Judgment of each individual deceased.

∆ [T] Philosophers refer to the body as the carrier of the soul, which in theory, when the body is dead and decay, in order for the Soul to make the trip to Judgment Day it needs to survive. Maybe a lapse of time is in order: such as a dream or the Soul going into a type of coma?

Here’s an interesting text on resurrection.

And do you believe in that?

I believe that difficulties raised against “reconstitutionalism” are to be taken seriously. I don’t believe in reconstitutionalism.
