So if you busy yourself with negative emotions towards others, being rude, aggresive, and awkward, then you are building this future for yourself. You will eventually be someone that does not radiate warmth, love or integrity.
And the road to this place is wide and obvious looking, the path to there full of enticing fruits. Symbolically speaking these tempting fruits are none other than what the ego will have you believe is good. But we must be tolerant and honorable.
If we are not, we are pinned down, Trapped, by the ego. As it goes about ravaging our souls. Pillaging and looting all that is good within us. It takes a real man or woman to see this, and act accordingly.

Circumstance can be both the most trying and most useful to people who attempt to follow the words of the wise.
For instance, from Buddha’s quote we can say:
Whilst a drop of water every day into a tumbler makes a tumbler fuller of water, wind may guide that drop away from the tumbler and the sun may evaporate that drop before the day is out.
We can also say:
It might rain sometimes and the tumbler will become fuller much quicker.
So again, circumstance can be both the most trying and most useful to people who attempt to follow the words of the wise. This point must not be forgotten.
