so … im an atheist (i suppose that doesnt need to be said but to hell with it… im a dick also.) but i was wondering if anyone from a theistic perspective would view life as gods medium to creating art?

If I created life forms, I would create them for one reason:
To have good, meaningful, healthy, happy, eternal lives.
I would not create temporary, conflicting creatures.
