Do animals keep in touch with their family when they mature?

Human beings, when then grow up, they tend to leave their parents house but they know where their mother and father lives and will have a reunion someday. But does this goes for animals too?

Yes for more species then many realize.

Like what type of species would leave their nest out of their parents , and be independent and then start a reunion? I was like thinking penquins, for they never leave the group and always follow the group. Forever reunited.

well you are right, flocks of birds are generally all related and natural wild herd animals for the most part. Most wild social creatures are related to each other. Apes, monkeys, Generally herbivore and omnivores stay in touch by remaining a pack or herds or flock or whatever. Carnivores do so only under neccessity and rarely. Lions and wolves and Orcas top the list on carnivors I think, as the odd social carnivores that remain mostly a blood family unit, there may be others.
