What is that word? Is it lost, can we find it if it was lost? Maybe that lost word is the open sesame to all the problems of the world?

My understanding is that a better translation for ‘word’ would have been ‘principle’, so it is the principle which governs the universe.

So, it is essentially the basics of existence that were then built off of. I suppose one could try to deconstruct the world around you with the intent of discovering the original principle. I believe this was one of the foundations of natural theology, one of the forerunners of modern science.
