Does the bible support evolution?

quoting from the bible about change, in the book of Judas Thomas the contender,

Jesus said," These all bodies of men and beasts are begotten irrational…those are above are not visible among things that are visible, these visible bodies eat of creatures similar to them with the result their bodies change. Now that which changes will decay and perish, and has no hope of life from then on, since that body is bestial"

sigh

The bible doesn’t support evolution, becuase the theory didn’t exist until the 1800’s. Before that, life from nothing was pushed. Than the same year that Darwin published his treatise of evolution Louis Pasteur proved that life must come from something.

wait, are you quoting from the “Gospel of Thomas” or the Bible? We Christians don’t consider it even worth reading, and, unfortunately, I have looked at it. It’s ridiculous.

why is it ridiculous?

Doesn’t it make sense, that the body is subject to change, when another body is put into it? But I am not sure about plant food. wonder why it is ought that the pathgoreans and buddist monks eat only vegetables and fruits

all it does is take some of the biblical stories, copy them and submit them as slightly different, even including that women should get sex changes (!?) also, it was written much later than any of the four gospels
