what did jesus say about sex

I dont know…help this dummy out…

I don’t think Jesus said anything about sex.

did jesus have sex

There are two ways of looking at that. One would be that he did in order to experience all that is human. The other is that he was celibate because of religious beliefs. Either could be true. We just don’t know.

Nothing.

Jesus did not know the word “sex”, because he spoke only Aramaic.

No.
According to some language philosophers and some linguists language determines the thinking and the actions, and Jesus spoke only Aramaic (see above).

By the way: Originally, the word “sex” is a Latin word. Does the English language have only this loanword for the meaning of “sex”?

That question in other words: Do the people of the English language not have original sex?

who did jesus have sex with…

was he heterosexual

I am surprised that not many persons here want to talk about the real historic jesus…
we do have some information from the historians…but not much about sex…

Would you ask Stephen Hawkin (SIC) about his sex life or about the nature of the universe? Who cares who Jesus slept with. His words are what are important.

.
his words are important…but I want to know exactly what went on…not all the imaginary stuff

There is an old rumor that Jesus slept with Mary Magdelene (See “The DaVinci Code”) ; and they had children. But it’s just a rumor. How could we know a couple of millennia later what really happened? Some of the gnostic gospels claimed that Jesus favored Mary over the other disciples.

interesting about the gnostic gospels…how authentic are they…
actually I love [jesus Christ superstar]…but that is just for fun…not historical info

I’ve read a few of them., e.g. “The Book of Mary Magdeline”, “The Gospel of Thomas”, etc. and find some of them as interesting as books included in the Biblical canon. Their authenticity is, after all, a matter of belief. The early church fathers, Iraenus (SIC), et. al., thought they were not canon material.

This:

And then this :

How can those statements be compatible?

Simple. How can we know what is rumor and what is truth? We weren’t there. The
people who claimed to have been there had little or nothing to say about Jesus’ sexuality.

How can you know that ‘it’s just a rumor’? You can’t, but you write it as if it is a fact.

Mark said Jesus talked about sex.

5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
5:31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

ROMANS.
1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
1:31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

ALSO

5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
5:2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
5:3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
5:4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

Lev, you are confusing Jesus with Paul.

If a historian said Jesus’ hair was blue, you’d all buy into it. I swear.

no art…we know better…we look for evidence
