I would be interested to hear the breakdown of how the judges came to decide on Scientology?

Oh, and there may be many factors that come in to making up a Judges mind, but for the sake of brevity (because we don't want judging to be a debate in it's own right), we are restricted to a brief sentence, and one (at most 2) posts cited as the most influential in our decision.
Judge #1
Wonderer - in favor of Scientology. He almost made a convert of Oughtist on the spot.
Judge #2
(in favor of Roman Catholicism) humegotitright's post: Greater chance of prayers seeming to be answered and therefore, seemingly more believable; uncontested by the Scientology argument of the Match.
Judge #3
Wonderer in favor of Scientology (this means, in favor of Scientology, due to Wonderer's posts)

You don't exactly have to make a post FOR a religion for your post to be leading factor into why a judge voted for the religion.
Sometimes, it's the opposing argument that ends up pushing it toward the vote against that opposing argument.
Oh...and Rasta lost, in case you hadn't checked on that yet.
On an unrelated note:
I'll get the tournament board updated tonight with the changes, and all of that.
We're getting close to some more exciting anticipation...we're on our last bit for Round 1; woohoo!

next time i'll be sure to go a bit further in depth. Scientology doesn't even classify itself as a religion (it might have changed that notion in the last 6 months, i'm not sure).

I did have one suggestion that I want to make really quick:
I suggest that the Debates in both Round 3 and Round 4 do not conclude for one full week, regardless of post count.
You know how the ALDS/NLDS in baseball is a three-game series and the rest of them are seven, something like that.

One other thing I'd like to bring up if I could:
I believe that the Judges should not give any explanation whatsoever as to their choices until the end of all of the Debates. The reason for this is because all of the winning Religions will have to be Debated again at some point in the future and this provides the posters with examples of arguments that worked with the Judges and might lend an unfair advantage when such Religions are paired up against Religions that the Judges did not elaborate on to such an extent.
I am guilty of doing the above thing and I apologize, but I just thought of it.
In any case, at the end of all Debates, I will be perfectly happy to discuss why I voted a certain way in any particular Debate. In addition to that, I would also say that it is probably not harmful to discuss why a particular Religion may have lost provided it give no clues as to how the other Religion won.

If religion dissects natural from supernatural, this experienced world from idealized or utopian worlds, it can have no "universal" relevance and can only add to the us vs them contentions over who has the real truth. A religion based on ecology and economy of natural experiences in a natural world is an ideal yet to be offered.
