Why condemn offence, when it is a subjective phenomenon?

The origins of the imperative, "know thyself", are lost in the sands of time, but the age-old examination of human consciousness continues here.

Hm, that's really odd, since you said

So which of your posts is wrong? One has to be.

As said, most sources state to suck up rudeness, since nobody has to be accommodating of others.

I don't see why a healthy person should if others are rude to them, it demonstrates narcissism if others expect adulation.

Not most of the sources I find. I suppose most would suggest you calmly tell people they are being rude, but I have never seen a single source say 'suck up to rudeness'. Maybe you need to check out new sources.

I agree. There is no good reason for a healthy person to suck up to someone who is rude to them, as I have been saying all the way through. It seems like we finally agree, not through my doing.

You mentioned assaulting rude people, well this contradicts how to healthily deal with rude individuals.

I think most think it's best to filter out and ignore them.

I doubt I mentioned assaulting rude people. At least not as a good thing to do. Apart from being illegal, it's an overreaction. Why didn't you just ignore your brother?
