Prediction: the show will generally follow the books.

I wish people would get off that show. It's about meth. It's OK. That's it.

I could just as easily say that Got is LOTR 2.0.

Speaking of those two, does anyone else detect the beginning of a romantic relationship? They're obviously really important to each other, and I think their recent arguments are a sign of sexual tension. Anyone else?

Hell no, man. Jorah is Lord of House Friendzone. He will be to Daeny what Littlefinger was to Catelyn.

Although I will say this. The scene where Walter ends up under his house at the end is maybe like the most intense ending of an episode ever. Either that or that barn door opening one from Walking Dead.

Anyone asserting it's the be-all-end-all is definitely American, or Volchuck, who is I think an American living in another country.
Gobbo wrote:Walking Dead is about Rick. His character has changed quite a bit. It's similar to Breaking Bad in that they are going from the good guy to bad. It's a satire-drama, so the characters are going to be archetypal to a certain extend.
Walking Dead is basically The Road with zombies.
Now, Dexter was a show about the main character, and again I will watch it until it's canceled (next season, hopefully).
Gobbo wrote:Rick didn't change once. That is a poor reading. Shane stayed the same while Rick slowly changed into Shane. I have no idea why you would think he'll revert back when the last season ended with him basically voicing that he wouldn't.

I've never seen The Road.
