Never heard of Primer or Mr. Nobody. I will look them up.
What about Sin City? That was a good one also. It has a sequel coming out. I have only seen one advertisement for it late at night/early morning. Cult time I supposeā¦
This hardly registers a cult film, as it is virtually unknown it seems, but I have to ut āTrop de Bonheurā on this list. I saw it when I was 16 on a movie channel we had, and I recorded it the next morning. I watched that tape so often that it broke.
I wonder what happened to the actress Estelle Perron.
Evil Dead 1 & 2
Army of Darkness
Big Lewbowski
The Thing
Night of the Living Dead
Deer Hunter
They Live
10 off the top of my head:
Myra Breckinridge
Showgirls
Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
Vice Squad
Snake Dancer
The Girl on a Motorcycle
Bluebeard (1972)
Possession
Salon Kitty
Vampyres
Well I am getting a good list to check out. I think these movies that are off the main stream are art. Most movies are about entertainment and money, not art. I do enjoy finding A list actors in an obscure cult flick that they never talk about. It gives them at least some respect as an artist.
.
and donāt forget the acting I mean The Room

I havenāt really watched movies recently, other than a trailer of 500 MPH Storm. I guess all of the movies made by Don Hertzfeldt are real good, especially Rejected.
Across the Universe.
Anything by the Marx Brothersā¦ famous for their one-liners and instrumental talents (classically-trained to orchestral performance level), as well as their slapstick comedic tomfoolery.
