I respect both movies. Aaron Eckhart and Heath Ledger are what make The Dark Knight the movie that it is. Although I’m not sure it’s anti-society.
What is it exactly you like about Dark Knight?
No I didn’t like the art style, so I never watched it. Too modernistic looking, lacked the 80’s feel of the original.
Not all things are left or right wing agenda.

The Dark Knight Rises was pretty obvious. Total Recall remake is in my opinion better than the 80’s film, because it amounts to more than a series of parts; the original is just a series of moments that are iconic, yet they don’t have the power to sum up to any meaning. The remake on the other hand has an overall feeling of meaning. Kate Beckinsale really delivers the character of Lori Quaid, whereas Sharon Stone merely hints at such a character.
And Colin Farrell brings a better balance than Schwarzenegger.
