Arminius wrote:"Philosophy is Friendship" is similar to Heidegger's "Denken ist Danken" ("thinking is thanking").

I feel like this is correct.
Turd Ferguson wrote:Fuck that, I do my own thing bitches. I gotta lower myself to your friendship, to ponder syllogism now? Not a chance dipshits.
Honestly, has peer pressure by you retards ever worked towards producing a new great thought? Usually just ends in a labyrinth of buttfucking nothingness that parades itself philosophical, but is little more than the sandy, fiery sterile hell of Dante's Inferno.
Better the world have a few great independent philosophers than a legion of idiots dressed in the philosophers garms.
Feel like fishing with Lucian of Samosata off the cliffsides of the Acropolis for philosophers. Let a line loose, see which one of you I drag up, laugh at it as too small a thinker, then toss it back in.
Every "friendly" gangbanging whore is now qualified to be a philosopher in your books.
No need to run amuck seeking others silly approval, or tolerating large crowds and followings around you. Just a bunch of mind games in doing that, like when we use laser pointers for cats as "play".
Magnus Anderson wrote:One of the reasons I cut my ties with people from England with whom I used to work, back when I used to over-work myself, is because of their emphasis on friendship.
They were, quite simply, circle-jerkers, and circle-jerking was something I simply could not stand, no matter how much I tried, and I did try to do it, to an extent. I was young, after all, and when you're young, you want to try everything.
You know what circle-jerking is, right? It's when people give each other compliments in order to fend off criticism and create a fantasy land in which everyone is doing well.
It's kinda like what you're trying to do here. Too bad it doesn't work for you. (But not because people who are posting here are not circle-jerkers, they are, it's just that they are not into your own kind of circle-jerking. They like to pretend that they are above it. You don't have that trait. You need to acquire it first.)
Indeed, our entire modern Western society is one huge festival of circle-jerking.
I mean, just take a look at what you're doing with Pezer. You are telling us that this guy has some talent, and yet, when we put on our headphones and listen to the videos of him mixing, or whatever he is doing, we are appalled. We are appalled, because, it's not even glitch music. It's not even IDM. It's just, you know, random noise. And you say this guy has a talent?
That's not friendship. That's codependent relationship. That's circular reinforcement of delusions.
You can see this on Facebook when people start complimenting each other on their photos. It's disgusting.
How can I be friends with someone who cannot defend himself from criticism?
You can't take any shot.

Who the fuck cares what MagsJ thinks? She's a woman, after all, and women lie all the time, without knowing it, because they lie to themselves thinking they are telling themselves truths, so when they lie to others they think they are telling the truth just as well.
Who the fuck cares what millions of rtards around the globe think? The club-goers are druggies who find depth in 4/4 repeated infinitely.
I don't need money. I don't need to buy music. I don't need to go to clubs. What I need, however, is ears, and ears I do have.
Beside that, I did have a short phase with the entire EDM scene when I was a kid, so I am familiar with the genre. Fortunately, I grew out of it quickly.
There is nothing in there. Even the best of the best of EDM sucks. And this is not even the best of the best. This is bad. It's just lazy shit. No effort involved at all.
YOU ARE A CIRCLE-JERKER.
Just look at the manner in which you try to defend the poop that your friend Pezer produces. By appealing to what other people say.
Best regards,
Magnus
In ancient Greece, what tied philosophers to this term, Philosophy, was their quality.
My quality is the finest on this board. This is not bragging, it's fact. About 10 posters here can (and thus do) run with me.
What are your expectations for him?
