Corona Virus Outbreak from Turd

“Nice to see how you factory chickens do your very best to go extinct.”

Never.

we shall fight on the internets. We shall fight in the forums and in the threads. We shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the posts. We shall never surrendah!!

Don’t worry, I have protection.

I’m sorry, gentlemen, but there’s no conclusive evidence that 5g is any danger. We do know the radiation it produces is non-ionizing, which means it won’t interfere with the chemical bonds of your cells and stuff.

Shh, I just bought a metric tonne of tinfoil to sell to the marks.

I’ve felt my brain being damaged by my computer, never mind my cell, long before anyone told me about radiation from coms and cells.
Mainstream science isn’t my be all and end all, it’s fallible, it can be manipulated by big business, like it has been countless times before, on record.
It’s called corporatized science.
But I don’t wear a tinfoil around my head, instead I sit far back from my computer, about 10 feet, zooming in on my bigger than average screen to read from it.
I also don’t go on the net on my cell for more than about 10 or 15 minutes at a time, otherwise I get brain haze.
And I’m not the only one.
1000s if not millions of people from all walks of life report similar experiences.
Many have wrote about them on blogs and conducted independent investigations.

Tab is the guy who would’ve laughed at smokers who said they got lung cancer and other illnesses from smoking in the early-mid 20th century had he lived back then.
He’d’ve said, but the science, bruh.
In hindsight now we know smoking indeed does cause lung cancer and many other illnesses, but the science was being manipulated by the tobacco industry.
It took many decades for the truth to finally come out.
This is just one example of the corruptibility of science among innumerable examples.
I don’t want to wait decades or centuries for the science to correct itself, assuming it ever does, I examine and assess all the information available to me I can from multiple sources about a subject, especially my own experience, if applicable.
The sources I find to be more reasonable are the ones I tend to return to.

Bruh, you just have to look at sources and/or who’s paid for the science. I googled “5g radiation immune system” and didn’t get a single hit from what I’d recognize as a reliable site.

You show me an article from new scientist or nature or something even remotely peer-reviewed and I’ll buy faraday bags for my entire family the next day.

Stop believing the internet. Half of it is russians, the other half is porn. There is some crossover there too lol.

4 realz bruh.

Antithesis, the only things you can truly know are those experiences in your immediate sensory range. All else relies on second or 12th hand information. You talk about 5G as if you know ALL about it. You don’t. You say you experience “radiation” from our electronic devises but there are only about a million other possible causes to your condition. What you have is opinion - opinion that isn’t based on peer reviewed fact finding. It is good to be skeptical. It may be that 5G is the devils tool, but perhaps you might want to wait until there is some credible evidence presented. The internet is a damn poor place to hang our hat on. Conspiracy theories are very attractive but they ignore the fact that we are all “in the soup” and rational skepticism is our only saving grace.

Bruh you keep doing you, and I’ll keep doing me, you be black & white, and I’ll be shades of gray.

For you there are facts and opinions, for me there are factinions and opfacts.

The only things mainstream scientists can truly know are experiences in their immediate sensory range.

Relying on mainstream scientists is relying on second or 12th hand information.

That’s not explicit or implicit in anything I said.
I don’t know anything.
I’ve had some experiences suggesting my brain was being harmed by computers and cell phones, before I heard anything about this subject.
Then I went on the internet and found 1000s of blogs and sites corroborating my experiences, further suggesting my brain was being harmed by coms and cells.

I noticed I was getting what’s known as brain fog.
At first it lasted for an hour or two, then it got worse, lasting for a day or two.
Then I noticed a correlation between it and my computer use.
On the days I didn’t go on the computer, I felt fine.
The longer I went on the computer, the worse I felt.

“There are no facts, only interpretations”.
Friedrich Nietzsche.

There’s nothing special about peer review.
I’m your peer, and you’re mine.
I can make observations and conduct experiments, and so can you.
I can publish my findings online, and so you can you.
I can publicly criticize yours, and you mine.

Alternative media does peer review.
Naturopaths have their own universities and do peer review.

I have nothing to lose by taking the precautions I took.
My computer is now further away from me, and I go on my cell less.
This doesn’t harm me in any way, and my brain feels a lot better.

No it’s a great place, provided you take everything people say with a grain of salt.
I have access to millions of people’s minds, unique perspectives and experiences from all around the world, which’s enriched my mind.
There’s far more competition for knowledge and understanding, and that’s a good thing, monopolies lead to corruption and complacency.
If there’s few or no alternatives to a company or institution, they can more easily get away with peddling bullshit, because there’s no one out there criticizing it or offering anything different.

It’s beneficial for the public to talk to each other, criticize mainstream science and look into alternatives.
The public has a critical role to play in advancing knowledge.
That you think otherwise, makes you a kind of elitist, a science fascist.

Exactly, big business, gov and elitist think tanks fund much of mainstream science.

And much of our media is funded by big business, gov, the military and elitist think tanks, the richest 0.003% that own 13% of the wealth and resources.
Much of it is self-serving tripe, just as Russia’s is.

Our current system is exceedingly corrupt.
Most of it has been designed and redesigned to enrich and empower the 0.003% at the rest of the population’s expense.
For decades most’ve been getting poorer and losing their rights and freedoms.
That you haven’t noticed the corruption, the imbalance of power, or that you think mainstream media and science is somehow almost entirely immune, is rather amusing.

I look at what all the media has to say, ours, Russia’s, Turkey’s, Iran’s, mainstream, alternative, and then I look for consistencies and inconsistencies between and within different media outlets, to see what adds up and what doesn’t.
And then I put it altogether along with what I already know about history, human nature and the world, and that becomes my worldview.
And that makes me more informed than someone who just watches CNN, MSNBC, Fox, reads the NYT and thinks, that’s all there is to know about the world.

Or Turd is Maia…

Turd’s an abuser? how do I not know these things… maaaan, I really need to get in with the gossip more.

Perhaps Antithesis is also Turd?

Maaan, the virus has reached the Caribbean… St Lucia to be precise, where my parents are from and my mother and much family live.

A tourist from Russia who was in China 15 days ago was on a boat ride to Soufriere and was feeling sick. Went to Soufriere hospital asking for an Xray. The nurse never asked him any travel history etc. but told him to go to Victoria Hospital. He took a bus with a surgical mask on his face and went to the A&E there, and now no-one is allowed to enter or leave the hospital, but I would hazard a guess that no-one does want to enter the hospital. Darwin awards aren’t us, and neither is tempting fate.

I think the pros of quarantine definitely outweigh the cons… is this a trick question, Tent? I didn’t know that there was psychological damage in trying to preserve lives, but there sure won’t be any occurring when dead.

The economic and social upheaval is minor, compared to what could be… should we consider this a trial run for whatever pandemics may come after, that may necessitate complete quarantine and suspension of all free-movement and travel for an undetermined period of time?

The British passengers who were quarantined in Kent, have been given the all clear and are relieved that they did not contract the virus, and are now looking forward to going home to their families… they have nit complained about being quarantined, but are relieved and happy to be alive.

Mags, suppose you are caught in a quarantine but found (after 14 days) to not have the disease. Whew! dodged that bullet! Except that… you find that you have lost your job because the company couldn’t afford to wait 14 days without replacing you. No one’s fault, just business. Yes, you are alive, but who is going to pay the bills? It could be something as simple as missing a job promotion, or any of a half dozen other life changing happenings all the consequences of a quarantine. These things aren’t minor economic & social upheaval events, they are up close and personal. When a factory or any business closes it’s operations for the duration is that a minor issue for the workers no longer employed? You mentioned a hospital that no one is allowed in or out. What does that mean for people with medical needs not connected to coronavirus? Where do they go for help?

I’m not suggesting that quarantine not be used at all, but that the “costs” need to be considered carefully. It isn’t as simple as a panicky knee-jerk reaction of quarantining everything and everybody. I know. BLAME THE MEDIA! FAKE NEWS! A calm measured
approach based on facts as they come to light seems more appropriate than what we’ve been watching.

Studies show about 1 out of every 5 CEOs is a sociopath.
And I bet 3 of the remaining 4 have sociopathic tendencies.
For contrast, sociopaths make up about 1% of the general population.
For comparison, about 1 out of every 5 prisoners is a sociopath.
So the people running our society are about as moral as jailbirds.
They’re white collar criminals, they’re just smart enough not to get caught.

See no matter where you live, in dictatorships like Russia and China, in illiberal democracies like Poland and Hungary, or in liberal quasi-democracies like ours, you live in an oligarchy, and your press isn’t very free.
Yes, some societies may be a little freer than others…and arsenic may kill your faster than strychnine, and serfdom may be preferable to slavery.
Big business and big brother fund and censor the media, they decide what the scoop is.

That’s why we need alternative academia and media, 3rd parties and independents, that’s why we need to criticize and question everything, but even if we were ruled by angels, it’d still be beneficial to think for ourselves, do our own research and make it public, because a handful of corporations and institutions still couldn’t possibly cover every meaningful story from every meaningful angle.
There needs to be a dialogue between the public and its institutions, a back and forth, a give and take, more grassroots, less top-down, in academia, politics, media, everything.

And quarantining people for this seems pretty ridiculous, the stress of being quarantined could harm people’s health as much or more than the virus itself.
Imagine a 90 year old lady being held in a bunker against her will by people wearing hazmat suits and carrying assault rifles.
