… you’re probably a glamour of Christ.
However, you cannot make yourself a glamour of Christ:
It does not depend upon man’s
desire or effort, but upon God’s mercy.
-Romans 9:16
That being said, while desire cannot make one a glamour of Christ, it nevertheless functions as an indicator that one is a glamour of Christ.
After all, Christ perhaps alluded to this (as it is the ultimate form of desire) as something you will most certainly get if you ask for it, when he said:
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
-Matthew 7:7
The question then becomes whether or not one desires to be a glamour of Christ in order to avoid Hell, or if one desires to be a glamour of Christ in order to be:
“…united with Him like this in his death”
-Romans 6:5
It may not matter, because if one truly is a glamour of Christ, simply desiring to be so (after all what a weird thing to desire) one becomes predestined in a way in which the former will inevitably evolve into the latter, either in the here and now, or in the afterlife.
