"21st Century Thoughts"

First there was nothing,
survival of who could survive,
then arose civilization
to keep all the weak alive,

From this a striving of laziness
to conquer our God and Creator,
came an understanding of everything,
led to Man’s triumph over nature,

Then the revolutions began
as intelligence reached its limit,
anarchy of all civilization,
and the laziness that prevailed in it,

Watching from a distance
is Adrian, great Creator,
learning from Man’s bitter destruction,
life’s evolution is truly greater,

Now that Man is dead and gone,
Nature reveals herself pure again,
but the return of reason around every corner
is inevitably the curse of the Nothing

(Nature Vs. Nothingness)

Hello everyone, I am new here. I love philosophy and literature so I feel I’ll fit in nicely. I hope you liked my short poem about Man’s evolution. I have lot’s more but you’ll probably see me in the philosophy forum most of the time.
