Let’s see… All the other strikes came from hijacked planes… sooo, Mr. terrorist drops about 5 million to buy an exocet cruise missle, adapt it to ground terrain capability. smuggle it into the country to do what? Blow a hole in the pentagon? What WAS he thinking? Why target the pentagon? Why not the U.S. capitol building? Why not the white house? Even a missle launched from 20 mi out would not escape ground observation. We know that from daytime launches of the tomahawks. That they are too fast to do anything about it after launch doesn’t mean that ground observers wouldn’t have seen it.

The best security in the world??? Put down that Soldier of Fortune magazine and look at any of the investigative reports. The ‘best security in the world’ looked like swiss cheese… The scenario leading up to, and the aftermath of the attack reads like a script for Keystone Cops. Security indeed.

Actually witness are no problem here if you have planted
witnesses. People who are already in on the game, plant
them outside, and only interview them. That helps your witness
theory. As far as security goes, if you wish to look the other way
for about two minutes, then you can do anything you want.
The argument for a conspiracy is better then the argument for
a random plane attack. If the building was so secure then how
does a airplane be able to get so close without being shot down.
They plan for the events in war meetings and in fact had a
simulated multiplane attack on both military and civilians targets
in june or july of 2001, which condi rice knew about but has lied
about ever since. How can any flying object, any flying object
especially as big as a plane get by rader, when they are
searching for things as small as missiles all the time?
the attack on the pentagon only makes sense if it was a planned
attack and the pentagon knew about it, otherwise the woeful
defense against the plane makes no sense.

So, what’s the implications of it being a missile? I mean, that can’t be the whole story- if it being a missile didn’t make Bush look like an ass somehow, O_G wouldn’t care. So is the understanding that the missile was fired by Americans, or that is was sold to Osama by Americans, or what? In other words, ok, let’s pretend it was a missile. Where do the kooks go from there?
Well if it was a missle it must have been auth’ed by one of the higher ups as
- it hit an abandoned, renovated section
- They had planted ‘eye witnesses’
- The clean up/planting of evidence (a foot long twisted yet completely unscorched peice of metel was the only thing which was really found)
- The type of missile required (which thirst is still acting like a 5-year-old about) is too advanced for Taliban/al qaeda
So basically a government conspiracy, though this isn’t… breaking news of any sort.

Does ‘debriefed’ mean murdered? Why wouldn’t a government willing to kill its own citizens just hire a few suicide bombers to hijack a plane to target the Pentagon? Wouldn’t that be slightly more plausible? Oh wait, you don’t want to make all the other conspiracy theories look bad by including something plausible so throw that notion right out the window!

It’s one thing to involve people in a conspiracy that are willing to do it… It’s a whole other thing to involve people in a conspiracy unwillingly. It is borderline stupid and I would bet you anything that by now someone would be willing to come forward about their lives being threatened. The plausibility of what you propose is borderline laughable. That you have swallowed the conspiracy tripe and then claim that I am disinformed is amusing. With all the liberal democrats that would jump on this, you think some people wouldn’t be leaking this kind of information? If there is a conspiracy, Gobbo, then you have to assume these people were killed. And if there is a conspiracy, Gobbo, you have to assume they did it the right way. Come on, they wouldn’t need to “save” their hijackers for the WTC planes. Is there a shortage of suicidal fundamentalists or something? There’s no need to create a conspiracy design to look or appear implausible just to disinform people. It would be much better to just do it and make everything appear kosher.

You think people in the military don’t try and come forward when they see certain things? You think becausew someone knows something it’s just going to come out?

again, not to claim that there was a missile, although there are many questions about it being a plane, the size of the hole, etc., etc.
Apparently, the engines of the hijacked plane were either never recovered or were deliberately supressed in the weeks after the incident. No one in the public eye has ever seen the engines.
If this was a plane, there are two rather large hunks of metal that are floating around out there which would conclusively prove that it was infact a hijacked plane.
Before anyone who thinks that the whole question is stupid pipes up and says the engines were likely incinerated in the fire, since the engines burn aviation fuel as part of their normal operation, they don’t melt when in a fire of aviation fuel.
