4th of July Fireworks safety video

Happy 4th of July! For anyone planning to shoot off fireworks this year, it wouldn’t hurt to take a moment to watch this informative fireworks safety video.

The ass you save may be your own!

:astonished: :astonished: :astonished:

So this kid’s ass is permanently hairless now, right?

Wow, a whole new level of outright, pointless, human stupidity …

will wonders never cease?

How much lower can we go as a species?

What a dumbshit, pray he never creates offspring.

I fought with this in my neighborhood, with my children, with almost everyone who decides to strike a match. It seems that the only people who understand are the folks who have had experience with explosives. Every year I see the same old crap, and every year the emergency ward at the hospital is full of stupidity around July 4th…

Mas,

Eventually the terminally stupid weed themselves out of the gene pool. Give it another 5 or 6 millenia…

Or just use even bigger fireworks, to ensure crippling or fatal injury. That’s possibly why the Chinese make the most powerful fireworks in the world. Good ol’ eugenics.

Mastriani,

Do you consider mistakes to be unforgivable?

Mistakes are easily made.

“Burn out the day
Burn out the night
Im not the one to tell you whats wrong and whats right
Ive seen suns that were freezing and lives that were through
And Im burnin, Im burnin, Im burnin for you
Im burnin, Im burnin, Im burnin for you” -BOC

Hi xander,

I don’t want to speak for Mas, but I do want to throw in my nickel. There are some mistakes that are irremediable. When you’re playing around with things that go bang, burn at high temperatures, yes that’s unforgivable. There is only a certain level of stupidity allowed. We all make mistakes and for those unintentioned goof ups, we should be forgiven.

If I step out in front of the truck to see if his brakes work, should I be forgiven my stupidity? At what point does one accept the onus of their actions?

Natural consequences provide results enough for most acts of stupidity.
Is there a need to heap insult on top of injury?
Is there anything beyond sadism and a “thank God that wasn’t me” attitude when we kick a man who is already down?

in this instance the onus is on the anus

-Imp

Imp,

Shit. I knew I shouldn’t have used that word…

xander,

It isn’t kicking someone when they’re down, it is a slap across the face saying wake the hell up! Thank god that wasn’t me? Thank god I have enough brain capacity to not have to say thank god that wasn’t me. Now for the saddism part, well, the doctor has hopes and I am doing better…

Well it wasn’t just a condemnation of what you do, there is a bit of the saddist in anyone who watches another fall and then scorns them for it. (And that is just about all of us at least some of the time.)

It’s hard to muster up much sympathy for a dude who willingly attempt to fire a rocket out of his asshole.

I see what Xander is saying, but in this particular case, the kid was being an asshat.

Yeah… that was pretty funny. =D>

But hey, any ass-related fireworks injury you can walk away from is a good one.
