The Decent Man paid a hefty price for his transgressions against moral man in the 90’s, being all but erased as a force in the world by the descent of Western culture to hedonism and ignorance. But the mendaciousness could not last and in recent years the veracity of the tragic has been rediscovered to the chagrin of moral man. The Decent Man finds within this event the conditions of his worldwide ascendancy; from Columbo to Sydney to the streets of Las Vegas, by all accounts he posesses once more the tacit support of the Saint and is thus far declining to flounder.
is this based on a natural recurrence of progressive events, or a return of the mythical forms ? Is indulgence and pleasure so related, so as to enable the feeding in of a limited indulgence into a cycle of increasingly enjoyable pleasure?
guestimate: 1790’s , minus plus a skeptical admission of unreliability of point blank exactness. Rather, an infallible, albeit, uncertain progression of events in time.
Doing well, thanks. The swamps see me from time to time.Mostly working right now, poultry at work now, You can call me a chicken wrangler now . I get to learn more new things from my employers. Its pretty cool. Have you been romping around in your woods with your squirrels? I hope so.
That made me laugh…romping around in your woods…makes me kind of sound weird, which i suppose I am a bit of.
I wish they were the woods but at one time they were. If I’m not mistaken, the Lenni-Lenape had their bearings there. I can still almost here the drums and see the smoke rising up over above the trees. If i breathe in, I can smell it.
Have you ever looked into the eyes of a squirrel or anything wild? Beautiful. Observing animal nature can teach us many things.
Make sure that you consume enough vinegar so that the bugs won’t want to be around you, Krissy.
When do we get too old to romp around? never, I hope.
Yea, there are large Fox Squirrels here. They are quite the characters. I enjoy the company of a few when I make the rounds on my employer’s ranch/preserve. They think I ought to give them nuts or bits of carrot everyday, I get chastised constantly for only doing it about twice a month. We can’t make the wild dependent. I learn from animals constantly, I am grateful that I have the opportunity to do so and get paid for it.
We have a plant down here that I crush and rub on to my little ones and me. It repels bugs quite well and is nontoxic. The older folks call it a merkle bush or maybe miracle bush, the southern accents make it hard to decipher which it is. I have discovered that it may belong in the Tansy family of plants.
Enjoy your weekend my friend. !
