Neither is being scared to leave your home because criminals and hooligans are not put in their rightful place. Why should the innocent be punished simply for the abitary concept of freedom?
What is freedom? Can you touch it? Can you see it? Can you feel it? Freedom is not real. It’s an imaginary concept developed by criminals to justify what they do. I try to be objective about what is and isn’t good for society. Most “freedoms” are wholly just insignificant and thus are “permitted”. For example, drugs. I don’t see drug abuse as all that detrimental. Thus, it should not be punished. Most drug abusers are only hurting themselves, as they become desperate and pathetic, sucking dicks for money to feed their habit.
Which is freedom? Barring people from doing drugs so they don’t become such pathetic slaves to a substance? Or letting them do drugs and watching them die slowly and painfuly from their own addiction?
It’s a trick question as I don’t care which one is freedom. Only which one would be easier and more constructive to implement. And ignoring drug abuse would be cheaper and more constructive. Those who aren’t complete dumbasses will avoid drugs, those who aren’t will become addicts and the cornerstone of our cheap labor. Drug addicts would be good for the economy if they were treated appropiately…
That’s actually a good question. I do grin, not so much at the cattle’s suffering, as of the irony of the situation that they are too ignorant to know they walking to their own deaths. Yes, if they went mad cow they’d die anyway, but better to putup a fight, right?
Well, all the same people are ignorant. They don’t realize they can go mad cow, and have a 1% chance rather then 0% chance of success. Ofcourse, a human is suppose to be alot smarter then a cow. So they CHOOSE to be ignorant. And because they’ve made the choice, it is not immoral to laugh at their suffering…
I’ve actually played with the idea of banning meat consumption. Not that I give a rat’s ass about animal rights. Moreso a logical conclusion that without meat. We’d have more wheat/corn to dedicate to fuel, and we’d all probably lose some weight. Both good ends.
All we have to sacrifice is a little imaginary freedom. I didn’t realize it was freedom to not have an option of more fuel or more food. It’s not like we voted on it. We just assumed that people would rather eat meat then have an alternate source of energy…
It’s not even as if the economy would suffer. Sure, farmers would be screwed. But oil companies, would make even more money and thus, more jobs.
Ofcourse noone likes that sound of that. We’ve created fantasy villain words based on irrationality.
Racism is a bad word.
Fascism is a bad word.
Oil is a bad word.
War is a bad word.
Despite how racism is actually less here then in more liberal countries such as England. (Skinheads actually have some political might in other countries…)
Despite how fascism has not existed sense 1940.
Despite how oil is the reason we have work and productive technology.
Despite how war is why we aren’t in some other big mess. I garantee you if it weren’t for war, blacks would still be slaves, we’d all be speaking either German or Russian, and North Korea would’ve nuked us.
