“For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called God of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children. I have included references to the Biblical passages, so grab your Bible and follow along.

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said Thou shall not kill. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21).

God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses (Joshua 6). In Judges 21 He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife!

Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 & Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9). This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person.”

Christians follow the New Testament, a new Covenant with God.

Jews follow the Old Testament, the Torah. So what you claim is a moot-point. Most people and societies have not abided by the Old Testament for hundreds or thousands of years. Even today, only radical and fundamentalist Jews follow the “Old Rules”, and almost all of them, very selectively.

Wrong. If Christians didn’t follow the old testament it wouldn’t be in the bible. Most christians worship the old testament and teach the old testament at sunday school and in church and the preacher.

Naw man, the judaism/christianity story is all nonsense. The muslim one is closer to the troof. The world right now is a quarantined battle zone between three kinds of beings. The lesson Allah was trying to teach the jinn by this demand was humility. This is good. Humility is good and completes a strong character. But he fucked up by expecting humility to felt before an entirely different and weaker species of being. Humility among the jinn is felt, earned, by recognition and honor within their own culture and ranks. You wouldn’t place an inferior species among them as something to learn humility from. How can they feel humiliated and humbled by something so meek as a human being? They’d have to lie and pretend to be. Ah… Iblis then refused to be a liar and was punished for his honesty.

It was probably lost in translation.

Humility, I will give an example. An adult and a child. Obviously the adult is more intelligent and higher IQ than a child, but should have humility and be polite and respectful to the child. That is probably what they meant.

Actually there is even a better example. Software. Say someone is a software noob and they go online to ask some nerd for help. The nerd could have a snobby snotty attitude to them and no humility. Or they could have some humility and offer help to the noob, even though they are technically superior to the noob.

Including the Old Testament creates a “schizophrenia” in Christianity. It is why many Modern Christians support Israel’s genocide of Gaza and why they support so many foreign wars. It is also why so many of them care about billionaires and not the poor.

I blame that on “Muh Protestantism!!!” The peons, peasants, and rabble were never supposed to be interpreting the Bible however the hell they wanted to. Low-IQs and morons cannot decipher nuance, metaphors, analogies, etc. This is why Catholicism required intermediaries “Trust The Experts!” to teach, prescribe, and basically direct the masses, on how to be Christian / Human. The Protestant movement tried to take that power away, into their own hands, but Protestantism only works with very high-IQ peoples and societies (like the Germans).

The failure of Protestantism in the United States is clear… homosexual priests, veneration of sodomy, automatically forgiving all sexual perversion and vice without repentance, American History is a perfect example of the failure of Protestant Christianity. Only the Amish have really created a ‘legitimate’ form of Christianity in the New World. Compare that to Mormonism, that is basically just a re-write of the Bible… most Protestants are just Catholic-wannabes anyway. They copy the rituals. They copy the architecture. They try to copy the Hellenistic-Roman anthology… but the knock-offs are shams, cheap copies.

It’s best to go straight to the originals: Rome, Byzantium-Orthodoxy. Those are the ‘True’ Christianities.

American Evangelicals are basically just fanatic Jew-Slaves. They love Jews. They love to serve Jews/Israel/Zionism. They are, as the Jews call them, Goys, perfect human cattle, Golems. Jews don’t have any respect for their American Zionist slave-cattle.

This might be a problem if the book was less like a children’s dark fairytale and more like a science book. In that case, interpreting the content wrongly may have bad consequences, and one wouldn’t want to get it wrong. The Bible, on the other hand, is pure nonsense, so there is no way to interpret its content correctly and, therefore, no real problem.

What are you talking about? It makes complete sense as the Jewish history, mysticism, and mythology. They reference ‘Gods’ plural in the early sections, and define the Abrahamic God as a “Jealous” God, meaning admission of other Gods. “No Gods before Me.”

That basically means that Polytheism is the baseline of the Old Testament, not Monotheism. Monotheism is something else then, the elimination of Paganism and “false idols” by the Jews and Christians, which took place this recent 2500 years. It’s still happening. It’s ongoing. The Abrahamic tribes band together against ‘Pagans’ (ie. Nazi-Germany-Hitler) whenever a competing ideology / philosophy transpires.

It’s about history and political power, always has been…

Everything is permissible (all competing wants are in and of themselves morally neutral), but not all things are beneficial (in the context they may conform to or violate the golden rule). The “all peoples” promises/blessings of the Old Testament come with curses/woes… just like Jesus’ beatitudes in the New Testament.

Freedom of Thought requires Choice.
The Abrahamic religion, almost entirely, does not allow for Choice.

If you are in anyway ‘philosophical’ then you must reconcile this contradiction.
