Kris - write up the Drunken Bitch Beaver Manifesto - we need it, anyway, and it’s a sure winner in the comp.
It doesn’t have to be an essay, it can be a manifesto, a list of principles, a group of arguments, a story, whatever. Besides, I’m not sure that anyone is actually entering this competition, so if whatever you write will win by default.
Please, for my sake. Write a manifesto.
I wasn’t on tent’s list because I isn’t a riter. 
Maybe if I try real hard, I could write something nice. Who knows.

I’ve heard that as well. Rumor has it there is a down side though, as these relationships almost always are based on a supercilious ($7.49) foundation. Perhaps not quite as deep as you would consider suitable. 
Manifesto, sounds like supper to me. One Manifesto coming up. and Bessy, be in this too please. and the rest of you DBBs deploy your Utopia’s. . . Wait a minute! Bessy is the only one that has been nominated to hold an office. I know this because I nominated her, since we usurped her thread. And she is and has been on the list from the get go. So shouldn’t an officer set a Manifesto?
You all know I rather enjoy my peon status, it is a great cover.

I shall pull up my chaotic anarchal knowledge of laws and ethics and muster forth with this onerous task. whence the sun riseth and sets upon the morrow I shall begin the task of manifesting a Manifesto. Until then I must go uncluttereth mine side yardeth and front yardeth of treasures that were brought by my loyal spouse and prodigal progeny these past three days.

To the best of my knowledge, all my relationships are conducive to a comfortable and satisfying position for all involved. Sometimes when there are four or more it isn’t easily handled, but nothing is impossible. No watercourse way isn’t a mixed drink, but given the nature of the thread it may encourage the creation of one or six. 
Yes, it is impending. When this takes a major hold, and this probably not be done in our life time, we will have mutual trade, and many peoples from many lands coming into contact. This will create more wealth for regular folks, like you and me, and in time, because there are more workers than the very rich, more wealth will probably be distributed to the workers. At the moment, because of globalization, many Chinese and Indians are doing much better than thirty years ago. India has the largest middle-class in the world because of globalization. Will India maintain her borders, you betcha.

Target Practice, I can think of a few who are ripe pickins. I am sure they know who they are. 
Okay, say we have globalization, how do we fix corrupt governments and businesses like Anaconda who do not give a rip regarding human safety. This will not come about unless the corporations are controlled by Western standards. Sure the Chinese are doing better, but suffer under terrible working conditions. Globalization will start the ball rolling, but will businesses stop the the terrible working conditions unless government stop this? How to prevent the exploitation? This has been the stalling point in my, as usual half finished essay, and half-finished book. I did figure out how to get the gold out of France, ah, but how to legally market the find?? Not possible. Black market would be the only way to go.
To free a people they must first be hungry for freedom and change. No amount of rescuing will ever rescue those that are fearful or timid or resigned. To create equality people must see themselves as equals to all.
You cannot give freedom nor equality to people, they must desire it , fight for it themselves. to give these things to those that don’t want to fight for it, you are enabling those people to stay sheep and be fodder for wolves.
If you wish to help them change, show them what change can give them. do not hand it to them.
Naturally the UN cannot control the world, if that was case, we would be ruled by a muslim halifat.
Actually I don’t understand why the UN is such an anti-western organization. Why do they support the muslim fundamentalism? Is it because China plays a large part, or because some random extremist Arab country like Syria has the same weight in the UN as, say, Italy?
I mean, how the hell the UN could have passed a resolution that zionism is racism in the 70’s for example? How is that Hozbollah has never been refered as a terrorists organization by Kofi Anan?
Some of the worst human rights offenders are on the UN Human Rights Counsel. Europe as a very long stained history of anti-Semitism, anti-Jewish thinking. The Arab 1948 invasion of Israel boasted 40 British officers. Brits were probably still pissed regarding the David Hotel Bombing. Why the bombing, the Brits would not allow Holocaust survivors enter this area. The UN has created more antiIsrael resolutions than anti any other country. They have few resolutions against Islamic terrorists, oh yes, pardon, freedom fighters.

Sure, legal arms are fine, but I do believe that people need to be educated regarding firearms and be licensed.

Nope, simply because it is not possible to create a solution to our present problems, much less a utopia. I have written about 1,000 words, but with no real resolutions. The carrot and stick approach simply seldom works with certain areas tentative.

Aspacia, Write what you would like to see. That it isn’t likely to work is another issue. Surely you’re as bright as the dummies running the world at present!
