A Hindu Style Myth

Before all and beyond all. Behind all and within all, containing both all that does exist and all that does not exist. Such words only point in the correct direction, they cannot make the journey. An individual can only point to the Infinite Mystery. Beyond pointing, we only have words, words, and more words.

The Infinite Mystery sat for an eternity of eternities remaining in absolute unity. The Infinite Mystery kept, keeps and will keep the absolute totality together as one undifferentiated whole. The Infinite Mystery rested in total peace and blissfully contented slumber. While the Infinite Mystery sleeps it dreams.

All of this happened, is happening and will happen outside of time, encircling time, beyond time, both before and after time. There, beyond time, beyond any experience here, the First Mystery was born, is born and will be born.

None knows the true name of this Most High and Most Supreme First Mystery, though the wisest of the wise have called this Mystery, Wao. The greatest sages have said that while contemplating its own nature that the Supreme Mystery first spoke the first name we know, Wao. Forever Wao both did and didn’t exist in the past, does and doesn’t exist in the present, both will and won’t come to exist in the future. Being beyond time, Wao encompasses all time.

First among all the Greatest Mysteries stands Wao. The Teachings of the Great Sages name Wao as the Mystery of Creation. Others have added to his powers naming him as the Mystery of Trickery and the Mystery of Magic. Wao created our universe through his most Mysterious Power, he power of pure creation, the power to dream. Wao gave, gives and will give all beings a tiny bit of this power. So the greatest sages say that the individual, who engages in an act of creation, will unite with the Supreme Mystery. So in our dreams do we live in absolute mystery.

Wao made in the past, is making now and will make in the future the second Great Mystery. The Supreme Mystery Wao did bridge in the past, is bridging now and will bridge in the future, the way across that first Edge, between that all and nothing with our own everything inside of Space. Out of that all and nothing Wao brought forth in the past, brings forth in the present, and will bring forth in the future the all and everything.

Wao used the mysterious power of creation to create the separation of the singular eternal moment of Now into all the separate nows of Time. So a division appeared in Space. For in Space on one side existed the Eternal moment of Now. That eternal moment became known as the Mystery of Eternity. The other side of Space held Time.

When the Greater Mystery of Eternity looked into Time she saw her reflection and so the Great Mystery Tihspah was born.

Wao could stretch from beyond time, to within Time.

While inside of Time Wao could only move forwards. Wao felt delight at this wonder. Each new experience felt more amazing than the last.

Wao stood with Eternity and beheld her reflection in Tihspah. Standing there he asked the newest Mystery for her name.

“I am the product of the union of Time and Space, so I am the Great Mystery called Tihspah,” she replied.
Wao felt very excited and went down to meet the new Mystery. As he moved from outside of Time and entered into Time he witnessed that singular Mystery become as three different Mysteries.

He met the first Mystery of the Mysterious Trinity.
She had incredible beauty, grace and youthful innocence.
“I am Tihspah-Tayrah, the first of the three, I being the Spinning of the Wheel of Time, I cause all that will be.”

He turned to meet the second Mystery. She towered about Wao, yet filled him with comfort. She smiled at him kindly and said, “I am Tihspah-Ma, the second of the three, I keep the Wheel of Time Spinning, I cause all that exists now to be.”

Lastly he turned to the third Mystery. Shadows clung to her making Wao feel strange. “I am Kah, Tihspa-Kah, the last of the three, I Stop the Wheel of Time, I cause the end of all you see.”

At last we have come to our own dimension, which the Greatest Sages taught us to call Tihspah.

Tispa Tayrah, the sages would know as the Mystery of Birth, the Mysterious Maiden, the Mystery of Beginnings, and the Mystery of the Sun. She rules over the season of spring and the dawning of the day.

Tispa Ma, the sages would come to know as the Mystery of Life, and the Mother of Mystery, the Great Mother. She rules over the season of summer and the middle of the day.

Tispa Kah, that sages would come to know at the Mystery of Death, the Dark Mother, and the Mystery of the Night. She rules over the season of fall and the twilight of the day.

We live in the hands of the Great Mystery Tihspah. We belong to this world we are formed of it. She supports us our whole lives. We live as one of the many different children of Tihspah.

If you wrote this just a little bit more vague, it could pass as religious text. A most enjoyable read nontheless.

Thank you for letting me know that you enjoyed it. More vauge, eh? I would not have considered moving in that direction. I shall have to take a look at where that might take me. Thank you Sagesound.

My pleasure…
