A lesson from history

It’s imprudent to encourage people to believe in God.

But isn’t that how you’re supposed to control them? I mean, it could be imprudent to encourage people to characterize God in thier own way, which was the result of the protestant revolution. But if you can characterize God how you wish, and impose “his” will on those who believe in him, you may just have something good going for ya.

In this world, it is imprudent to encourage people to do anything.

It is said ‘ignorance is bliss’. So, I suppose the less we know the happier we are.

Ignorance causes suffering. Freedom from conceptual fixation is probably bliss.
