That clip reminded me of asking, Xanderman, do you happen to know what happened to TheAdlerian?
If you were being serious, and you had only been drawn to me because of my “face” then if you had walked away, I would lose nothing. If you were only kidding around, you might walk away to make a point, but after that, you would come back. So either way, what did I have to lose? 
People must continually decide to stand together, or else we all fall apart.

These days? I have no idea. A friend of mine drew a word picture of theAdlerian running through a field of spring flowers, so I envision him there.

I beg to differ. ILP comes together like glue when posters opinions and ideas fall apart. The essence in here is “intelelctual conflict”, as acknowledged by ben if I remember correctly. Unless of course, you define “standing together” as, in universal agreement to argue philosophical subjects, then I take my difference back. The problem I think, while this universal agreement is surely heart-signed by most non-dumb posters, but serious ad hominem out of sheer rage or wrath is still a commonplace here. I had recieved plenty lately, so trust me. What you guardians of ILP are gona to do about that?
You can ban TheAdlerian, for the moment ignoring the question of whether he deserves to be banned or not before much bored and boring posters get banned, but you can’t ban ad hominem by that act. You are not doing a great job, I’d say. I don’t complain though, for I’m already beyond the stage where I have to respond to ad hominem by sling one back. I’m just saying this because I’m worried that your inner turtle cannot stand up for justice for ILP, in the manner of Dunamis’ Monster Turtle Guardian Of Earth. Since you are newly hatched, I’m not expecting you to fireball anybody just yet. But I believe that you (or some of you) initiated the banning of TheAdlerian. So the problem here is premature fireballing, it savagely annihlates the monster, but draws another one right back instead of scaring them away as shown in the video clip. Moreover, your fireball scattered the guts of he monster all around us, so now it’s an issue of contanmination of nasty ad hominem.
So before you decidely turn into the monster turtle, please think twice about it, about your methodology perhaps, making your fireball a waterball, something wet and smooth, something that maintains libraic justice for ILP, something that achieves an effective mediation between argumentation and adhominemation. Grandpa is wise because he is mild, not meek, nor monstrous. Learn from him son. Basically I consider TheAdlerian banning as a moderating failure, and evidence abounds on my side these days. Speaking of whom… where’d heck is psyque these days? Did you ban him, too, again?!
Ummmm…you did notice the lack of orange on his name, didn’t you? Sadly Xander has not the single handed ability to ban any longer.
And the ban is over as far as I know. I think he chooses to stay away now. Being a poster who illicits conversation, no matter how useless that conversation was, does not allow you to avoid the rules. I think that there were several posters who due to their post counts or believed longevity here assumed that they should be immune to the clearly posted rules. The administration allowed quite a bit of leighway and then when they started warning some, they didn’t stop.
Tell me, if you were a member of the Ku Klux Klan, and then admitted you were gay, you think they’d just ignore that? You go against the precepts of the group and you get removed from the group. This one just happens to be more forgiving than most.
