a new understanding of today, time and space.

Imagine the variation of responses you would get if you asked ten people to write in one hundred words or more what they thought that statement meant.

Or even better: provide a particular biggian context in which one might be able to say ‘this. This right here. This is the cowardice our existential problem is. Right here.’

Then ask yourself if you could also explain what just happened in a radically different way in a completely different narrative. How many ways would what we interpret as the existential problem, be interpreted differently?

My meaning is VERY simple! Lives with consent violation have no meaning.

You’re too afraid to go there.

You bring up Darwin as if Darwin is allah (or whatever the fuck).

You’re a religious zealot. That’s not the abyss.

“Lives with consent violation have no meaning.”

That just sounds preposterous but you might be right. I doubt it though. Depends on what you mean by the word ‘meaning’. That’s one of the most abused words in the philosophical lexicon.

You probably mean something else but couldn’t find a more accurate word at that moment. Sometimes people mean ‘purpose’ when they use phrases like that… but even that would be hard to argue. There are purposes everywhere. So I dunno, depends on what you mean.

Pete ecmandu and I would like to apologize for hijacking this thread.

“You’re a religious zealot. That’s not the abyss.”

Close. I’m a zeligious realot, and I’ve stood over plenty abysses dont you worry.

Agreed, in saying that, I do want to articulate what I meant.

If even a single being is having their consent violated in some way shape or form — all of our lives are meaningless, I’m not using the word ‘meaning’ as a synonym for ‘definition’ here, our lives literally have no point! Any attempt to make meaning or a point out of consent violation is, like I said, religious zealotry, whether it be secular or not. ‘Spiritual people’ like to say that we all made soul contracts etc… none of that is the abyss!! Zero sum realities also always violate consent - meaningless - pointless.

I’m terms of purpose, it is about eradicating consent violation for every being forever.

I forgot to add this too!

When you reach the abyss, you realize that to make any meaningfulness in your life, and point to it, you MUST regret every memory you’ve ever had!!! All of it!!

Then you must strive as best as you can just to make life slightly better (because that’s all you can do here!).

Reduce the severity of consent violation!

My life is spent trying to eradicate it, because, I know if I don’t or someone else doesn’t, I’ll have to regret all my memories forever. Every time they form, I’ll have to regret them, forever.

The abyss puts things into perspective … it makes you work your ass off spiritually.

Am I perfect? No! Karpel doesn’t even read my posts anymore because of inarticulation on my part.

I try as hard as I can though!

The endgame is that if someone achieves positive non- zero sum hyperdimensional mirror realities for all beings, I don’t have to regret any of my memories! Nobody does!

Wtf is a ‘positive non- zero sum hyperdimensional mirror reality’?

You know what, no. Dont even answer. Just drink your big black cow and get out of here.

I can’t cry anymore while you run around, Ecman.

You don’t have the stamina to debate something, and now you don’t even have curiosity! Those are red flags that what you say doesn’t mean anything to you, and you don’t care to learn anything - totally anti-abyss!

But I’m going to elucidate you!

A mirror is very straight forward. You stand in front of it and see everything behind the mirror reflected (only in 2 dimensions though).

There’s a curious property about mirrors though. If you touch it with your finger; not only to you feel yourself touching your own finger, the finger on the other end feels nothing. This means you can feel others when they can’t feel!!! That’s extremely important!

The other thing is, if you toggle off your reflection, you can feel yourself touching whatever is reflected without your finger there (so you’re not always just touching your own finger!)

It’s much more complex than this (but hopefully you get the gist)

Hyper-Dimensional mirrors process non feeling entities with all senses (actually, an infinite number of dimensions) so that you always feel them exactly as if they are 100% real. The beauty of this system is that no matter what you do, you can’t harm anyone.

Another AMAZING perk to this is that if you want to experience someone or some thing differently, you simply change the SHAPE of the mirror!! It’s reflection will give you exactly what you want, every time!

Not only is it impossible to violate any possible beings consent (even a microbe), but it’s impossible for your consent to ever be violated … FOREVER.

Discuss.

thanks all for your kind interlude……

finally have a day off……

one of the, many, traits of us human beings have is this need to
see something that doesn’t exists……

we are convinced that there is such a thing as metaphysics, which
is the belief that there is something beyond the physical…

something outside of our senses…

now science talks about things we cannot see all the time,
but we have some evidence for these things……

for example, black holes… we couldn’t see them or touch them
or even photograph them… they were invisible to us and yet
we had evidence for them… in theory, black holds have been known
since roughly 1916…Karl Schwarzschild…

but until the time that black holes could have been considered to
be “metaphysical”… beyond the physical…because they were
a “mathematical idea” until David Finkelstein published a paper
in 1958 which suggested that black holes were something more
then a “mathematical idea”, that they were real…

because we can measure, time, weigh or examine its properties,
we can know that certain things are real that might be thought of
as being metaphysical… atoms for example……… they might have been
thought of as “metaphysical”… beyond the physical……

but once again, we can, by way of the number of protons, define which
chemical element the atom belongs to… the copper atom contains
29 protons…and thus we can place copper on the Periodic table…
and this placement is real and we can test and measure copper in
a scientific way… thus atoms, copper atoms are not “metaphysical”
beyond the physical… they exists within the world…
and we have plenty of physical evidence to prove this…….

this idea that there might be, might be, something that is
metaphysical, beyond the physical, leads us to think
about things/matter existing in the real world and it doesn’t…

an example of this is vampires or ghosts…

there is in fact, no, no physical evidence that vampires or ghosts exists…

part of the problems of human beings is that we think that there are
metaphysical things that exists for which there is no evidence……

I can put vampires and ghost in this list, but I can also put other mythical
creatures into this list of metaphysical things that seem to exists but really doesn’t…

the ancient Greeks belief in cyclops and the Minotaur or the unicorn or
the centaur, a Pegasus, a poltergeist or phoenix…and one other, god…….

we human beings get sidetracked by things that only exists metaphysically…
beyond the physical………

when I look at a room, like the room I am in right now, I can only see
the physical things, the stove, the chairs, the sofa, the kitty condo,
many, many books on a couple of book shelfs……a table and my computer…

but I cannot see anything metaphysical, beyond the physical…

my own personal existence is defined by what we can see physically,
or hear or taste or touch or smell…my senses, which can be fooled
no doubt, can only see things that have some sort of existence…
I cannot see something that is metaphysical…
I cannot see god or a unicorn or a phoenix because they do not
exist, they are metaphysical, outside of the physical……

we humans exist in a physical existence…there is no such
thing as a metaphysical object………. and thus our search for
these metaphysical objects takes away energy that could be better
spent on other matters……

I wasted many years searching for god, a metaphysical object…
when I could have been doing something useful with that time…

look about you… what do you see?

do you see metaphysical objects like god or a unicorn or
a dragon or a phoenix?

what you see is exactly what the universe is…nothing more…
we cannot see metaphysical objects because they don’t exists…

when I look at the world, I see trees and road and cars and
grassy fields and stoves and people, lots of people, and I
see couches and TV sets… what I don’t see and I can never
see are the metaphysical objects like god or unicorns or dragons
or a phoenix…….

and it is important to understand this… we must limit
our search to what we can experience which is plenty enough,
we can experience love and hate and suffering and old age and
finally death…

what are we to make of the many things that we can experience……

it isn’t about what is real and what isn’t, it is about what we experience
and what do those experiences mean?

let us bring philosophy back down to earth and try to understand that
which is real and what we are able to experience…

we must keep our eye on the real and what we can experience……

not on objects that are metaphysical ………

Peter, although there is a confusion about whether vampires and ghosts or even God, ‘exists’ the fact is ghosts and God is increasingly views as more and more non existent.

But vampires can not be included in that camp.

A vampire was re lined fro His an isn’t, archaic source, she was a princess of great renown, a daughter of one of the brightest prince’s progeny, who fought the ‘Islamic’ manic that nearly overtook Europe, and it was ultimately with Hungarian help that Europe was saved by the Ottomans blocked at the gate of Vienna.

The princess got caught bathing in the blood of slain maidens, eventually captured in spite of being in regalia, and condemned to be imprisoned in her own Yransylvanian castle.

A male, even more brutal version went down , imprisoned ultimately in a Hungarian castle.

please feel free to show me the evidence for
vampires……

would I go to a museum to find one? or perhaps I might go
to the zoo? or perhaps that little out of the way bar where
vampires and zombies hang out?

I have never seen a vampire and neither have you
and neither has anyone else……

so, where would I go to see vampires?

or for that matter, ghosts or even god……

there must be some kind of physical evidence for these things for
us to have belief in them…….

and where would I go to find evidence of a vampire?

Kropotkin

Ok, let’s disallow vamps and ghosts, God certainly lives and thrives, admittedly His presence is the only sign of man’s belief in his good natured sude.

Maybe god is the unseen, unprovable that some prefer to entertain for examling his existence as testamental

K: I haven’t seen god and neither have you… once again, to see god, where
would I go? where is god hiding? if god “lives and thrives,”
he must do that somewhere…if god is the answer, then the question
is incomplete… believe in god is something that takes your attention
away from yourself, it is a way to hide from who you are…

by searching for god, you miss searching for “who you are”
if we are searching for god or happiness or money, then
we aren’t engaged in the primary question of being human,
“who am I?” “What am I do to?”… “what should I believe in?”
“what should I hope for?” “what values should I have?”

the search for god is the attempt to disguise the fact that
we are afraid to search for the question,
“what does it mean to be human?”

I am seeking what it means to be authentic and by searching for
god, most people avoid searching for what it means to be authentic…

we search for god to avoid asking ourselves the hard questions of
existence… the search for god is one way to avoid the questions
of existence……

it is not enough to ask such individual questions as “what am I to do?”
we also have to ask, “what are we to do?”
we avoid not only the individual questions of existence, but
we avoid the collective questions of existence……

we hide behind answers to avoid disturbing our soul with
hard questions about our existence…

what answers are you hiding behind?

If the ‘Soul’ is to be believed , then God is tantamount with It.

That connective identity is implicitly analogous within the definitive definition of The Holy Trinity.

There is an implicit union that is both a conflated logical sequence, and a excludedly misidentified connection.

Peter, only Christs power to unite the Two, can account for a Dr-differentiation of the integration.

K: and you can show me your “soul”? what is the “soul?”
I can’t even begin to describe what a “soul” is, little
less be able to understand it…

belief in the “soul” is simple just another assumption…

and god knows we already have enough assumptions……

what is true about human beings? certainly nothing about a “soul”…

Peter, do You not see inconsistency between the two paraphrases?

K: I used the second “soul” as a example. what should I have used?

body, mind, spirit, soul? and for my answer, soul is the best example
for my example…
