A Study of Capital

@Socrates

The E.U. is a puppet of Washington D.C. and has always been since the end of World War II following the Soviet Cold War. There is fear of losing Europe to the Chinese like how Canada has been in recent years.

Of course Washington D.C. is a puppet of London and when you find out who controls the city of London you unravel the greatest mystery of the modern western hemisphere geopolitically.

Mhm. The EU didn’t exist at the fall of WWII.

But hey, sure. They are a puppet of the US. Slobbering bitches, begging for master’s approval.

1 Like

@Socrates

They were already drafting papers on the organization of the E.U. in 1948-1949.

:clown_face:

Yeah I mean, as soon as the Third Reich fell, the Fourth was already in planning stages.

But it didn’t exist lol, so they couldn’t be a puppet of anything.

So what you’re saying is that you agree that the EU is a bucket of scum?

1 Like

So you also agree that the US should withdraw from EU wars, and stop giving it financial support?

@Socrates

Washington D.C. , London, Brussels, and Tel Aviv.

:clown_face:

@Socrates

Yes, the E.U. should withdrawal from the C.I.A. orchestrated Ukranian war against Russia.

:clown_face:

1 Like

But let’s pretend the EU has no interest in withdrawing, what should the US do? Withdraw and leave the EU to figure it out with Russia?

1 Like

@Socrates

The United States has no interest in stopping the war. Like western Europe it also wants access to those Russian natural resources.

A convenient relationship of thieves and pillagers.

:clown_face:

1 Like

But let’s pretend.

Let’s pretend the US has plenty of resources elsewhere, while the EU doesn’t, and it is the EU that wants Russia to disappear so that it can have its resources and some Lebensraum.

Let’s pretend the US doesn’t actually have anything to gain from a war in Europe, and everything to gain from doing business with Russia.

In this imaginary world, where the EU absolutely refuses to stop the war, should the US withdraw its military and financial support, and leave the EU to prove how great its socialist doctrine is?

I see. No pre-cooked commie answer to that one, eh?

@MrAuthoritarian Stealing our future earnings power by taking our jobs with AI, or stealing it via massive indebtedness, is all really the same as I can see.

They want to take ALL wealth for themselves, make everyone else their servant, and own the planet. That is the level of narcissism and silly animalistic “thinking” of the super-rich and the various cults involved in it. AI is a big part of this for them, it is active surveillance (which is also control) plus stealing all future wealth-creation you and your children might have been able to do, but now the AI will do it instead.

Funny they do see themselves as enlightened and masters of philosophy and ethics, that is truly how insane and dissociated they are. Narcissism is not a strong enough word for it. Ignorance is not a good enough word either for those who are fooled by their lies. Stockholm syndrome should be given a new name at this level.

All of this is capitalism because capitalism inherent has no limit on upward growth. Capitalism subjects every other thing in existence to itself, to the power of “capital” (growth of wealth and “owning stuff”). Whoever owns the most stuff wins, that is capitalism, and capitalism only respects a pile of money or something that can lead to it.

Everything will be consumed and taken up into the smallest pool of ownership because that is capitalist “will to power” to suck everything in for its profits. To extract and exploit for the purpose off making an even larger pile of money. Then all remaining capitalists fight each other for the largest share for the pile.

Profits before people, before truth or philosophy or logic or love or the future or family or one’s society or hope or before really anything else at all. You want to know the logic of capitalism, just imagine a giant pile of money. That is all that is needed. Everything being sucked in and converted into more cash-pile.

And then they cry about communism, as if we have anything of the sort. The political “left” in US or EU today is just more capitalists, neoliberal bought and paid for who just want more social programs and don’t even realized they are following the same system that is destroying them.

Communism which does still exist elsewhere today, overall failed because it was very young compared to capitalism when it came into being and it was a human ideology, an attempt to make the world in non-capital terms of real humans, which had its own real human flaws too. Communism needs to go through periods of improvement and fixing errors over time and new forms of its evolution, but that is not happening yet because capitalism already controlled the game for over 100 years before communism even existed.

Any “study in capital” must account for all of these things. Does it? So far here it seems like capitalists apologizing for capitalism while dodging the core main issues like I outlined here above.

This is an excellent rational counterpoint.

Conservative but not reductive.

Lets work the metaphor on this;

Parts of the animals, its organs, its cells, its brain patterns, are ‘addicted’ to certain stimuli that the animal as a whole is capable of providing or them.

Capital is such a meta-organ to the humans inside of it. Capital has enough leverage, minds and hands to do a lot of work that humans in tribal-sized societies can not accomplish. In that sense Capital has being, is a thing that is not merely a sum of its parts. This is generally the case in complex systems, the dynamic between the parts is itself a thing that cannot be reduced to the terms of the parts in isolation. The parts rather need to be identified in more elaborate coordinates, parameters. So humans within Capital are more , or less easily isolated, behaviors than humans inside of a tribe. Which is not to say larger or deeper. Just harder to extricate.

I am not talking about soul or anything like that, just the behavior, which does include the behavior of large parts of the psyche. So Capital isn a system that is driven by the needs of its parts, but several of these needs have been given as possibilities by the system, like you said.

Its not a 1 on 1 equation - the meta-organ, or organism, animal, called Capital did not come into being and to include systems off human drives in the same order as the human came to include his organs. But the effect is interesting to compare; if enough organs within Capital would suddenly die, then Capital collapses as a result of which the rest of these organs will suffer and to a god degree perish as well. So a lot of human investment, and human self-investment systems, are now organs to this ‘animal’.

Not all drives, not all investment; but many of the primal drives that existed for hundred million yeas have for their fulfillment become dependent on Capital.

Because these needs are actually deeply ingrained in human livelihoods - cars, to give a particularly need the fluidity of Capital to be produced - there is a self-sustaining pattern, composed of intricate interferences of general needs and specialized actions, that is pretty resilient, but also, since it includes much of our human lives, very versatile in what it theoretically is capable of. Like any body it simply does the least that is required of it but its inner and outer pressures. Some of these requirements and pressures are very much fixed and very reductive. Notably, the purely financial aspect. Strict statistics and bottom line seeking, game theoretical approaches and zero sum expectations. But this is one side. The productive aspect, which includes some financial aspects, actually requires constant liberties, as it is driven by the market to innovate and invent in order to self-maintain. So theoretically there is potential to stimulate it into producing new behaviors, as long as they don’t interfere with the core mechanism, the OP’s main value, the libidinal time-structuring, the animal that ties the conservative and expansive aspects together. One name for the animal which has some actual power to draw its attention, is Opportunity.

Opportunity is often seen as a window. A frame.

The limits to the type of frame we can recognize determine the type of animal that Capital can become.

I don’t think that’s the bottom line. Rather, whoever can invest the most, and best, wins. Ownership is just a secondary proof of potency. And incidentally, a requirement to be able to directly demonstrate potency again.

You can look at the business models of tech and military startups to verify this. Investing power is the active, real ‘substance’ of capital, and even though wealth in some form is required for it, wealth does not suffice for it.

So are you saying the US has entirely been Europe’s bitch, being drawn into enforcing the NATO expansion which resulted in the war?

That is what this movie says as well.

I also consider Americans like Brzezinski to be slightly more than completely passive extensions of European powers.

One way the US benefits from NATO is simply arms contracts. NATO prescribes that all arms purchases Europe does must be made with US manufacturers. Which kind of suggests some active US involvement and interest in this whole process.

It’s all responsive to Capital, and that responsiveness is pervasive and its always for a good deal pretty dirty until someone steps up to properly handle the animal.
I don’t mean ‘regulate’, or constrain, in case you have not read my posts.

1 Like

Basically. Big Man has said as much too, but NATO is still important to the US for subtle reasons which are not your run of the mill commie “it’s the weapons contrablablabla.”

I lament to inform you that the US loses money on NATO.

But yes, the EU has weaponized those subtle reasons. Topping from the bottom, if you will.

Yes, ownership is a proof of potency… potency of domination by force. That is the point I was making. “Might makes right”.

Does it matter if the person owning the pile of cash is the one pulling the trigger, or the one ‘investing’ in the one who pulls the trigger? It doesn’t matter. The point is that capitalism has no logical limit to upward growth because by definition its highest and ultimate value is “the largest pile of money”.

Ok then sure, you are a capitalist who ‘wins’, and you get to choose what to do with that pile. I get it. Some people will do some good stuff, others will not. Some will “produce good things” and others will not, or even squander it. None of that secondary stuff is the point here. Good or bad uses, it is all the same worshipfulness of money for its own sake.

“Investing power”? Do you mean investing in power? Because that is just sucking up to the cabal “elite” pedo billionaire fucktard insectile psychopaths who already run most of everything, will be happy to see most of us dead soon and all of our future possible wealth creation and that of our kids stolen by AI and robots. Then we become either a passive slave-force to them, or they just exterminate us.

Is that the “investing” “power” you mean?

1 Like

By the way, I just caught that you wrote this. Whenever I see NATO I tend to tune it out as a commie buzz word.

EU expansion. Or you agree with your socialist comrades here, the EU is just a US plot?

Let’s see.

The EU, which is essencially the Fourth Reich, wants what the nazis have always wanted: Lebensraum and the Slavic world. It cannot do this, because it is a socialist shithole. Best it can do is blackmail the US through NATO.

1 Like

Now I am thinking by this you mean the power of investing; is that right? Not investing “in power” but literally the power that investing has.

Yes, investing has a lot of power, if you do it right. You can gain a lot or lose a lot, and your investment can help grow something good or something bad. Normally investors do not care if what they invest in is growing something good or bad, they only care about their kickback. They wanna get paid, that’s all.

Making a bigger and bigger pile of money. The perfect (and only) ideology, ethos and ‘god’ of capitalism.

To your point more directly, whether or not investing is the ‘real substance of capital’ (it might be, but there are other contenders for that title such as capital itself i.e., physical businesses, infrastructure, machinery and inventions etc. but also the mind, intellectual ability plus time and times risk) is, to me anyway, a less urgent and interesting issue. Well it is interesting in the sense we should understand capitalism as much as we can, how it really functions, so we can find ways to improve past its otherwise fatal errors.

It is a system designed to prop up and expand systems of power through wealth-aggregation. That is what the first stock market was, a way to invest in shares of the largest company on earth at the time, the Dutch East India Company, so that company could directly suck money from the citizens and grow even larger. In doing that it was able to augment its growth so that the amount it had to pay back to those ‘investors’ was less overall than the amount it got to generate in extra profit for itself.

Today it continues. The power of investing is to benefit either the investor, the business invested in, or both. Sometimes it is neither, if the business collapses totally or simply returns no net profits out of the extra investments. In this way investing and the whole structure of stocks and bonds is a game of natural selection, one that is played at high speed with stocks and at a much slower speed with bonds.

And that returns me to my point about might makes right: the power of investing is a way to keep might makes right ‘law of the jungle’ animal-level logic at the center of the human world. To prevent us (humanity as a whole and individual humans) from philosophically developing and ascending spiritually higher as a species by keeping everything about a low-level materialistic and profit-based power only. Natural selection is operating at the level of capital and the selection mechanism has little to do with what is best for the human world, its meaning, its value over time, what is good or best for the people now or in the future, what is good or best for our environments and our planet over time, what is ethical or philosophically sound, logical, spiritually uplifted or embedded in the shared meaning of the society, or even what the majority of the people living today want in terms of a future and how the world is changing around them… no, the selection mechanism has little or nothing to do with any of that stuff, the selection mechanism is simply: “what grows a larger pile of money?”

And by growing a larger pile of money this is supposed to be proof of potency, as you said. Proof of value-gain, which at times it can certainly be that. A new invention or process can add more value and enhance the lives of people and improve society and the future, and as a reflection of this the company doing that good stuff can generate immense profit, and its investors can also profit along with it. That is the ideal model for things. And that is how it SOMETIMES works.

The other ways it works are what we need to concern ourselves with, because those drive might makes right and the power of despair and death through pushing the never-ending growth of systems of tyranny and absolute power and surveillance. As the good things get increased in value, so too do the bad things like war, destruction and death, murder, disease, poisoning people and the environment, accruing wealth more and more into less and less hands over time, the wealthy buying the political system for themselves, techniques of psychological oppression and manipulation of the masses, literal technologies of death like shothead drones and weaponozed insect drones and AI robots of all kinds, mass surveillance systems that rival anything Orwell could have imagined, the erosion of individual and social values and health of the people including the value of family, the dumbing down of the populace both deliberately and as a natural consequence of unchecked decadence and affluence pushed by a largely degenerate entropic culture, and of course the lack of anything resembling a philosophical interest and ability of most people today, coupled with the relative lack of skills and independence of most people to survive on their own or know how to do just about anything useful on their own as people in the past were able to do for themselves.

…all of that is a far greater concern to me, and it should be to you as well. If we are embarking on a Study of Capital then THIS should be our departure point. What say you to any of that? Will you still defend capitalism or see it as a good thing given these effects and consequences of it as I just outlined above? Personally I believe we are just a few small steps away from falling into a system of technological oppression and control that we will become locked in without possibility of escape. Imagine once day when the world around you is actively and passively monitoring you, plus from inside your own body, and one day a group of 4 armed robots show up at your door to take you away to the death camp because the system or political power-base deems you to be a threat of some kind. What can you do about it? Nothing. By then things like programmable money and social credit scores coupled with the docility of most people who will only want to appease the system to keep getting their UBI payments because AI has already taken away almost every job humans could do to earn a living for themselves and now almost everyone is depending on the state for handouts, …you can do nothing to stop any of it. And most people don’t care because they are spending their time in virtual realities “Netflix and chilling” in their own private AI-driven virtual mental worlds, able to be controlled through direct emotional infusions and by complex drugs and energetic fields that affect the brain in specific ways.

How much longer until a system like that exists? Maybe you are unconcerned because you think it would be another 1000 years, well past your own lifetime and that of your family? Well even if it is still 1000 years out in the future, I am still very concerned about it. My concern does not end at the limit of my own lifespan. Or maybe you are unconcerned because you think nothing like that could happen? I would then be interested in your ideas as to why it can’t occur, because I think it definitely CAN and IS already occurring today. AI and robotics are a fierce acceleration mechanism for all of it. Covid was a kind of test phase to see what they could get away with and how the populace reacted. Expect more test phases soon as more controlled demolitions of the world we once knew are set off, as things collapse and are reconfigured more and more toward the kind of absolute control system (run by and for exclusively the smallest group of richest people on earth) that I see is the inevitable result of capitalism itself.
