A theory connecting our reality today

we begin, as philosophy often does, with the understanding
that in philosophy, as in any other discipline, information can be
good information or it can be garbage… and therein lies the
very old saying, garbage in, garbage out… if we use garbage
information, we cannot get the right information out… put in crap
and you get crap back… Charles Babbage, who created the basic
concept of the digital, programmable, computer, once said:

‘‘On two occasions, I have been asked [by members of parliament]
Pray Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will
the right answer come out? I am not able rightly to apprehend
the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question’’

Indeed, what kind of confusion of ideas…
and yet, we see this kind of confusion every single day…
the entire MAGA movement is based on this kind of confusion…
the starting point of MAGA is racism… whites are right,
black is wrong… which is plan garbage… because it is
unsupported by any kind of evidence, facts of any kind…
and another starting point is the belief within both the MAGA
movement and conservatives at large, that the least amount
of government is the best government…which completely
ignores one of the basic points of existence, within life itself,
that systems, any system moves from simplicity to complexcity…
this is true of life, or any other system… from institutions to
biological systems… the path of systems moves from simplicity
to complexcity… our society, state and the systems within
that state or society, has gotten ever more complex, as systems
do… the idea that a system that is ever more complex, can
be handled or controlled by an ever smaller government flies
in the face of common sense… a complex system requires an
ever more complex system to handle it…complexity requires
complexity to control it… think of the history of cars…
the Model A ford didn’t require a great deal of complexity because
it was a fairly simple car… and think of today’s cars… to understand
cars today practically requires one to be a computer specialist’s to
understand it… complexity requires ever more complexity…
so, how exactly does a large complex system, such as America,
work or function without an equally large complex system to
oversee it? and the problem with complexity is that with
ever increasing complexity, even an ever smaller monkey wrench
can be used to slow down or even stop a complex system…
as a system grows more complex, it becomes ever easier to
slow it down or even stop it…

This is part of the garbage in, garbage out of MAGA and conservatives…
if one gathers in garbage information, one will get garbage out
information…IQ45 is so wrong, so often because he like so
many MAGA holds to garbage ideas which translate into garbage
out…

so much of MAGA hates cities… especially democratic cities…
which is basically where much of the minorities live in…IQ45 has
often painted inner cities as crime ridden, destroyed cities and yet,
the facts tell us he is very wrong… listening to faux news,
one would believe that cities like Portland and Seattle are a smoldering,
destroyed mess, and the truth is far different… Portland as is Seattle are
large thriving cities… but that is what happens when we practice GI, GO…
Which explains why IQ45 and MAGA are usually wrong… because they
begin with garbage facts and wind up with garbage out… they, MAGA
begins with gut feelings, like IQ45 always says, but not facts or evidence…

So, let us further investigate this:

We have many different diverse ways we can approach this…

As I have been studying science and philosophy, as in what do
the two have in common and what can we philosophers learn
from science… complexity is certainly one idea from science
that we in philosophy can learn to understand… another idea
which is what I have been engaged with recently, chaos, randomness
and chance…

The Chaos theory has over the last few decades, taken
science by storm… chaos has been defined as
‘‘the amplified effects of tiny changes in the present moment that leads
to long term unpredictability’’ Chaos is about those tiny changes in
the present moment that leads us to long term unpredictability…
and where does Randomness stand? Randomness like cards and dice,
is unpredictable because we just don’t have the right information, GI,
Chaos is somewhere between random and predictability… a hallmark
of chaotic systems is predictability in the short term that breaks
down quickly over time as in river rapids or ecosystems…
and what is chance?

Chance: is the unpredictable and uncontrollable element of
an occurrence.

It is my philosophical contention that we philosophers haven’t
figured things out yet, because we haven’t worked out those
three elements, chaos, randomness and chance into a
coherent philosophical theory… that is, in part, why
philosophical systems theory like Hegel and Marx failed…
they were unable to account for such things as chaos,
randomness and chance… or to say this another way,
our philosophical theories of religions and governments
and society have failed because those theories fail to take
into account chaos, randomness and chance…

Which as usual, leads us to ask, now what?

While I don’t like MAGA or Trump both were only made possible because of the failings of liberalism. The failings of liberalism politically gave birth to Trump and MAGA.

More economic capitalism certainly isn’t going to solve anything, we’re not going to vote our way out of this.
