I never see commercials these days, but I would guess that things like cars are still being sold with explicit and implicit assertions that one
gains certain values/qualities if one own the car in question. Which might be something like a fallacy of misplaced concreteness, but I would prefer to call it BS or guilt by association.

What a great short clip/advertisement. But it’s a beer commercial. If the point is to advocate, it has to be some kind of red herring fallacy.

The first time I saw this I was a little drunk and it was late at night, and I wasn’t paying attention until the last part and I had to google it and laughed for about ten minutes.
