From Gnosticism to postmodernism.

I was delayed for a long time in replying due to technical problems on my end.

Jesus was not born in Bethlehem; he was born in his home-town of Capernaum,
and there was nothing unusual about the conception, pregnancy, or birth of Jesus.
The birth-in-Bethlehem lie, and the virgin-birth lie (which is the basis of the rape and
adultery lies), were never claimed by Jesus himself, but were invented by early-christian
gospel-authors, decades after Jesus’s death.

The two early gospels- John and Mark, make no claim that Jesus was born in
Bethlehem, nor claim that he was born from a virgin, nor was otherwise born in unusual
circumstances, becuz those two lies had not yet been thought-of.
It is only the two LATE gospels- Matthew and Luke, which state those two particular lies.

The reason for the Bethlehem lie is that Micah 5:2 states that the messiah will
be born in Bethlehem.
The reason for the virgin-birth lie is Isaiah 7:14, which states that a quasi-divine boy will
be born. Although Isaiah 7:14 uses the hebrew word for “maiden”, not “virgin”,
that verse was nonetheless popularly believed by the jews at the time to mean a birth
from a virgin.

Similarly, the two late gospels also incorporate the then-new lie that Jesus,
and his father Joseph, are descended from King David, becuz Isaiah 7:13 states
that the quasi-divine boy will be born among the descendants of King David.

All based on Biblical texts…
Your word, against theirs.

There’ no evidence Jesus was a real person.

Christianity didn’t start with this “figure”.
Saul is the origin.

So much baloney. No stomach for it.

_
God belongs to none, but himself… so none can claim him as their own, for any concept of what god might be, would be a Universal affair.

'God" as a concept referring to the Abrahamic definition, is a construct of the mind.
It does not exist anywhere but there…as an idea.

All ideas can be used by men to exploit and manipulate other men.

‘God’ as defined in Indo-European spirituality, refers to what is independent from minds.

Etymology and usage. The Mesha Stele bears the earliest known reference (840 BCE) to the Israelite God Yahweh. The earliest written form of the Germanic word God comes from the 6th-century Christian Codex Argenteus. The English word itself is derived from the Proto-Germanic *ǥuđan.

“The English word “God” itself seems to derive from an ancient term for a libation or offering, and may have referred directly to the idol to which the offering was made. It comes out of the same general pagan Germanic background that, further to the north, gave us Odin, Thor and Loki.12 Jan 2013

The words “deity” and “divine,” for instance, descend from the same root as Latin “dea” (“goddess”) and “deus” (“god”), words that originally referred to only pagan Roman gods. Yet the same word, “deus,” is used to translate the Hebrew “Elohim” in the Latin Christian translation of the Bible.”

The exact time when humans first became religious remains unknown, however research in evolutionary archaeology shows credible evidence of religious/ritualistic behavior from around the Middle Paleolithic era (45–200 thousand years ago).

…as outlined in the attachment above.

Local religions ->local taxes / global religions ->¿global taxes?

When a word refers to text, and only text, supported emotionally, then it is nihilistic…especially when its definition contradicts experienced reality.

God, of the Indo-Euroepans refers to observable phenomena, or man’s reaction to them, and relationship with them.

When a word is “defined out of existence,” then its motive is not truth.

This applies to many words…like free-will, and morality…and sex/gender, and race…
Even the word ‘meaning’ has lost its meaning…and the word ‘nihilism’ has been integrated into nihilism.
When the definition disconnects the word from its referent, then its motive is not clarity, or reality, or objectivity…but escape, or manipulation and exploitation.

One definition of religion, is a cult that has become popular.
Another is a spirituality with a sacred text, claimed to be a mediator between the believer/follower and his totalitarian authoritarian ideal. Only three major spiritualities exist that match this definition…Abrahamic.
Such mediations are gradually taken over by the priestly class.

…but if that^ was confined to those pertinent countries and their religions, there would be no discrepancies, to argue over.

If that’s what a specific country and its religion wants for its people, then okay… but if that’s what another country and religion want for other people’s countries, then that’s… ¿whatever you would call that? :confusion-shrug:

…a global god ->a global tax. The real goal here?

Another part of the definition is that these scripture based religions are messianic.
They don’t want to just believe what they do, they want the entire world to believe it.

Messianism is another nihilistic identifier?
Why?
Because nihilism is word-based, and can only exist as an idea in the mind, and so it must spread its ideology/dogma to expand its field of effect…otherwise it is impotent.

Nature based spiritualities require no global participation, because they are objective. their gods exist whether you believe in them or not, because they refer to natural forces, natural phenomena.
Non-believers suffer the consequences…
These subjective spiritualities require intersubjectivity - collectivism - to share the costs of their delusions…and they also contradict themselves, necessarily, if they hope to survive in a world they dismiss or denounce, or contradict.

That is why I really dislike the word ‘religion’… I think we should go back to using the words ‘belief system’ or better still, ‘Faith’… less connotations of authoritarian-rule and dictatorship that way, and putting the power back into the hands of the individual/country and their wishes/preference.

The English word “religion” is derived from the Middle English “religioun” which came from the Old French “religion.” It may have been originally derived from the Latin word “religo” which means “good faith,” “ritual,” and other similar meanings. Or it may have come from the Latin “religãre” which means “to tie fast.”
__
The Greek word threskeia, which was used by Greek writers such as Herodotus and Josephus, is found in the New Testament. Threskeia is sometimes translated as “religion” in today’s translations, but the term was understood as generic “worship” well into the medieval period.

Our modern languages are infected by nihilism and Latin misinterpretations of Greek words.

I propose a return to the origins, to cleanse away centuries of residue.

Stop Coping Christianity is Jewish, You Worship a Jew as God
Christianity shares the Jewish scriptures, Jewish prophets, all originates from Judaism
No Christianity w/o Judaism. Prophecies being fulfilled by Jesus come directly the Tanakh, 77% of Bible is OT

“In Judaism, satan is god.” :star_of_david:
~Jewish Rabbi

Straight out of Gnosticism.

Christianity and Islam “purified” the demiurge, adopting Zoroastrian dualities.
In so doing they handicapped themselves, because they now had to justify their selfishness, and deal with shame, whereas the Jews remain shameless, even when they are caught in lies and in self- contradictions.
The only thing they suffer is god’s wrath in the form of grand failures. These they consider god’s disapproval of their performance, as its representatives.

Now factor in that their ‘god’ is but an abstraction of their collective, and you see how fucked-up they are.
God’s will is their collective will; god’s approval is their collective approval.
And who represents this collective?
Their rabbis.

Great point, the Jews criticism of Christianity is mainly that Jesus is not their Messiah
The more important point is that it is a Jewish hoax the Jews created on purpose to deceive the Gentiles into worshipping their fake God & accepting their fake history/prophecies as divine
