You know very well that saying something is true does not automatically make it true so that statement of yours has zero validity
Opinion is not the same as evidence and you have provided none of the latter which I knew you could not but I still asked anyway
No, my statement is true. Consciousness of other people have zero evidence.
the rest was sarcasm, that’s why i put syrup logic underneath
I would say that for the physicalist (which includes scientists) there is deductive evidence that other people have consciousness, but no direct evidence. IOW they cannot measure consciousness, but infer it. I consider the deduction weak. Not because it leads to considering human conscious - however bare this consciousness is in many cases - but because it is a bias towards what is like the scientists. As a pantheist that is.
But in context against his ironically simple statements of opinion about death presented as facts, your point is well taken.
This you cannot know.
I would prefer living within a fully-advanced civilisation, not here where technology constantly fails us and where the more unsavoury primitive instincts in man still run rife over the more refined.
The ‘wise’ are definitely lacking in the perfect-world equation, so it definitely isn’t a perfect world, and humans are not great, and the West needs to stop claiming these things are so.
