I’m looking to join a few philosophy mailing lists, but it seems that a lot of them have closed membership exclusive to published professionals and university professors.
Nothin wrong with keeping out the riffraff, but it WOULD be nice to join a few professional-level lists just to listen in, and a few serious amateurs’ lists to contribute to and debate in.
Any suggestions?

The mind was not meant to stagnantly sit in self analysis. The mind was meant to athletically test things and experiment, first-hand.
You really want philosophy mailing lists, and things like that?
I have none, but I’m just wondering, why?

Not sure what mailing lists have to do with self analysis,
but I guess for the same reason you debate on ILP.com?
