OK, since you bumped it, I’ll bite.
I don’t think this is one of your best. For me, the bunny’s too cliche-cute (like pop art bunnies) and the dark colours and patterns behind it are uncomfortable in a disturbing / bad taste kind of way. I often like weird things juxtaposed against each other but this didn’t do it for me – sorry.
What do you like about it?
TY for the bite.
I like the uncomfortable patterns behind it. On psychedelic drugs like shrooms, acid, etc., swirls like that are always present (in a dark setting).
I am too fond of this one because of the story behind it, I guess it blinds me to the nature of the art.
I had found myself in some sort of limbo. The sun was rising, I was alone, there were no more beautiful thoughts, no more inspirations. Just anxiety. Waiting for something. Waiting for an eternity. I had seen it all before. Deja vu. And the only friend I found was this damn cat with his damn red tuxedo.
i like it
This is why I don’t like being critical of someone’s art. You never know the story or association behind it.
I have a love/hate thing when it comes to criticism of my artwork. I love it because it sometimes opens my eyes to something I didn’t see and I hate it because it sometimes opens my eyes to something I didn’t see.
For instance, if someone says “that looks like a giant penis” then I can’t help seeing a giant penis in the work and my previous enjoyment is ruined. I hate that!!
Remember, people are only expressing what associations come to mind to them when they see your artwork. Criticism tells you far more about the critic than the art. Keep posting. You have a unique style and most of your stuff is exceptional.
.
Nah you are too kind. I am but an amateur seeking to express myself, and for some human reason I have the urge to share it. So critique it, if it is bad, tell me about how awful it is. I simply appreciate the feedback.
also, gobbo, thank you
