I have been stating for years that if African-Americans were a separate race - which I know they are not - that race would be superior to ALL OTHER RACES here on earth.
I know this is a broad, theoretical statement but there is a mountain of real facts behind it.
In short, whenever African-Americans are given a level playing field they conquer ALL OTHER RACES.
African-Americans make-up a little over 10% of America’s population.
America makes-up about 5% of the world’s population.
That means that African-Americas - looked at as a separate race - would make-up one half of one percent of the world’s population.
Look at African-American’s impact upon the world in the very short time since they were legally granted their freedom from slavery in 1865.
Whether it is sports, entertainment, philosophy or in ANY OTHER ASPECT of humanity where there is a level playing field, African-Americans out perform all other existing races on earth.
My thesis for this thread: African-Americans, if they were a separate race would be superior to all other races on earth.[/size]

I’ll admit that I really, really enjoy the contributions of black americans, but I think this thread, especially the title, is needlessly inflammatory.
Because it says “African-Americans; Superior to ALL OTHER RACES” instead of “Comments on the remarkable efficacy with which african americans have contributed to society”. you made it racist as a cheap way to make it interesting
Well, it may be as a result of the fact that society says African-Americans are inferior and so people NOTICE when they become celebrities. So although I do love my beautiful black men, no race is superior. Nor inferior.
I’ve always had this thought but I never really expressed it, for obvious reasons.
I don’t think any race is superior but you are correct, once African-Americans place their minds on
an Idea or goal, they excel. However, I find it even more amazing the inspiration, motivation, and
faith, they give so many people as they reach towards their goals.
Whatever you say Bill… It’s interesting that this thread exists as I more often see the Antithesis for it, though thankfully I don’t see either that often.
I think this premise is a load of malarky.
But one thing I came across though i’m not sure if it’s true or not, is that apparantly Africans are pure Homosapiens where as Other Humans are a mix between that And Neadrathals(For Caucasians) or Denovisians(For Asians).
Not sure of the Validity of the claim, it seems really clear cut, almost like a compromise between out of africa theory and multiregional hypothesis.
