Afterlife

Oh? Are they associated with any particular religious sect or are you referring to just in general?

Somewhat like heaven and hell is what you make of it?

Not really, no. Usually when people say the words ‘heaven’ or ‘hell’ they are speaking of fairly specific type of afterlife. I can see what you’re saying in that heaven means different things to different people, as does hell. But in general, heaven means a good thing and hell means a bad thing. My magazine analogy isn’t so divided. My version of the ideal afterlife isn’t really one that I would call “heaven” if that makes any sense. Heaven and my ideal afterlife are two very different things.

The easiest somewhat organized following is the angelic “worship” in variations of Wicca.
Here’s a video of one such adherent explaining her belief.

This is first for me.

I wonder how many other people like this idea? I love the possibility that I can change my afterlife. I believe its all based on expectation. The afterlife you expect will be what you receive perhaps?

A good number of people like that idea.
14.1 million people worldwide and growing, to be exact.
LDS (mormon) holds a heaven that is selective to the individual.
They don’t really have a hell for people.
They do…but not really.
Most of their afterlife outline describes several tiers of selective interaction based on your interest and desire to step into deeper levels of reality.
And in each tier, the existence is subjective and not universal, even on the highest levels. And you can change levels at any time by the choice of your true heart.

This is technically still “heaven” by name and theology, but it is far closer to No-Body’s concept than any other organized faith. As such it shows that if No-Body’s concept were organized into mass presentation, a rather large number of people would likely follow its adherence.

If you can imagine it…someone out there probably believes it.
