Aggrieved White Republicans

i used to think most of the rampant, rabid anti-Obama sentiment among Republicans WASN’T in fact racist, but lately, i’m starting to wonder:

Clearly, Brit Hume sees the world through the lens of an aggrieved white Republican shill, who can’t stand the fact that Obama is a remarkably successful president and a black man who speaks in support of the US black population. i wonder if it had been a moderate, sensible, white Republican (one of those increasingly rare birds) who had spoken out against murders of blacks by police if he would of similarly accused them of being an “aggrieved black activist” or, more likely, a race-traitor?

Welcome to FOX News: Next masturbatory anti-Obama temper tantrum coming in 5, after a quick recap of today’s developments in the war on Islam . . . and Hillary Clinton (could she be a Muslim? - FOX News has the scoop!).

Fox news is like the news that Hitler ran in Germany during WW2 and everyone except the kool aid drinkers knows it.

How have you managed to survive into adulthood Smears?

Hello UPF

“Remarkably successful” is too strong of a description of the Obama years, don’t you think. He lost the Senate, the House in spectacular manner, being denied a hearing, while seeing them invite foreign leaders (Israel’s) and inject themselves into the business of the Executive Branch. He ran because he felt that one of his strengths was to help others reach a consensus, to help reduce the gap of opposing views. In this regard he clearly failed. He streched his hand in friendship to the Muslim world and ISIS was the response. He placed his hope in a hopeless situation and had his very own W. Bush rude awakening about the realities of a region plagued by centuries of tribalist mentality. At home he oversaw the GOP self-inflicted fatal wound as they tried to reduce his significance and legacy.
He has been successful, in some ways, but I would not qualify this as “remarkable”.

Obama did speak less like a President and more like an activist at Dallas the other day. Why the fuck not? He only has a few more months in office. I think that the conservatives, like Hume, have a point on this one. If you are a black person, you might be getting tired of endless speeches. Civil suits have to be brought up to put pressure for change in the Police Departments of these cities. Dallas Police was acting exemplary that day by the way.

LOL

I font thing the Arab Tribal System was/is working against Obama like it was with Bush, we had a lot of issues getting used to the idea of having this alien social tier of local government that didn’t match the municipal or rural structures we were used to in the west, but around 2006/2007 we digested it well enough that we learned the necessity of playing politics on that level. Iraq since then has retained these traditions, not all the Sunni Tribes broke from the Iraqi government. Think this is the sole reason for restrain on the parts of the Shia militias… still plenty of armed Sunni groups around in a loose alliance with the Iraqi Federal Government.

So I can’t blame Obama for not grasping this, as he seemed to understand this well enough in mass bribing tribes in his pullout of troops in Iraq. His problem wasn’t a tribal issue, but in being a little shit in allowing ISIS to build up in the first place. Sever diplomatic issues (cough, secretary of state) in not getting residual bases set up to keep the transition smooth. This was completely preventable, we won the war, and Obama snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and ran with it, the Democrats cheering like some mad muppets screaming “we got cabin fever!”.

This is why you need a strong secretary of defence and secretary of state in place when you know the president is completely inept in foreign policy. If he is strong in foreign policy, but weak domestically, you inverse that… put strong cabinet leaders in charge of internal affairs. Be great if the president had a all around strong crew, but historically very few governments in history could pull off both without infighting simultaneously.

I do like how trump is trying to figure out what his strengths and weaknesses are… not saying I’m thrilled with his conclusions (would of loved Patraeus as his VP) but at least he knows he doesn’t walk on water, and that his cabinet is supposed to be more than Yes Men. If he gets enough good guys around him, they can inform him when he is full of shit. This is exactly why we bother with cabinets in the first place.
