Aleister Crowley & the third eye

In case you don’t know Aleister Crowley, do not look him up… you will become infatuated with him… eventually. I’ll tell you a bit about him.

Ok basically he was a rich dude in England in the late 1800’s, early 1900’s who traveled the world, learned about eastern philosophy/qabalah/magic(k)/tarot, did cocaine… etc

He wrote alot of books on magic(yea, its crazy), rituals and developed this philosophy called Thelema.

Well I was reading a book of his and he says that anytime you have an egotistical thought or feel pain directly concentrate the ego/pain to the third eye (anja). He said eventually you will be able to absorb pain and diminish your ego. Do you think that concentrating egotistical thoughts/pain to a point within will relieve pain?

The third eye is an amazing thing.

P.s. sorry if that made no sense, IM REALLY REALLY BLOWN RIGHT NOW

As an avid meditator, I live by that shit! I will look into him/his concepts, thanks…

To operate on our higher levels, is to truely live/experience.

I’ve heard of him. He’s the father of modern paganism.

Your mind can do lots of crazy stuff with meditation and little tricks; I wouldn’t doubt it does something.

Sephiroth!
Sephiroth!

Please explain?

Something in latin about slaying someting…
and Sephiroth is like the Kabbalah tree of life… i think

Sephiroth refers to the different spiritual planes. Not a tree, symbolic or otherwise.

Yea, the kabbalah tree of life is like a map of them

that’s something different. I was raised learning this stuff. trust me. the pop kaballah that people can get a hold of isn’t anything close to what real kabbalah is about.

Kundalini, Kabbalah, Chakras, etc - they all describe the same thing… energy fields/the aura.
