Maybe, during some other time. If they have come during our time, why not say hello? I think surveillance or possibly messages is far more likely than actual visitation.
Be wary and friendly. Any species managing to visit must have far better technology. Hopefully there morals will be better than our, too.
Of course! We one day might get lucky, and what a thrill that would be, especially if we get to compare society and philosophy.

I find that fairly trivial. If it started here, life may be more prevalent. If elsewhere, it needed to start somewhere, presumably on a planet.
Its possible a comet did start it, but then again its also possible for the other theories too. not a clue either way. I don’t think knowing origin is important nor needed. Destination is.
the theory that life on earth started somewhere else is called panspermia btw. the theory of neo-genisis, that lif on earth started here by either the mixture of certain molecules or by rna. I believe in the latter but it is completely possible that panspermia is true. the reason i dont think that the panspermia model is liable is because i dont see enough evidence that life can travel through hundreds of light years of space, exposed to radiation, not protected by a magenetic field, or live for that long with a very low food supply, if any.
thats if life’s carrier was an astroid. But is it possible that a dwarf planet could carry life if it was active and maintain magnetic field? this is for you science people who know this stuff. when considering this, pleas note that the planet of which carries the life must break orbit from a star (planets need a star to rotate aorund in order to form) which I’m pretty sure is impossible.
