in our little swings we fly through our head. the emotions, of course. unfortunately i know why i am writing. why the quill taps the parchment, why the pen bleeds ink onto murdered trees, why the keys beneath my fingers are being struck restlessly. im not afraid of death. not at all. im afraid of not being infinite, not in body. we fear nothing but mortality, not in body. why do people have children? why do people seek recognition and fame more over health? why do people feel it more necessary to create and evolve rather than breathe? and most importantly, why am i writing this?
we are afraid of not leaving the most important thing- a footprint. on earth. we are afraid to expire before we are able to contribute. why?
the overwhelming emotions that we have. we fear the pain will be shared with nobody but ourselves, and we are right. we are afraid that the coincidences that make out heart beat and put colourful winged insects in our stomachs will never be remembered, and that is true. we are selfish and can not bear ourselves to be forgotten.
it hurts and i need to take advil.
“quit while youre ahead” in this case would be suicide. literally. and alphabet soup would make useless stories if you get hungry.
perhaps a needle in our veins and a camera will be worth the pain.
and self-pity is more like the set of a movie, rather than a negative feeling and an empty hand.
and the future? what good is that unless your death is in the newspaper.

funny how all we strive for will be forgotten anyways because people are to busy trying to be immortal themselves.
