Definitional Logic

Long ago, Science used to include definitions, but in the effort to obscure, they dropped that requirement. Thus ontologies such as quantum physics and relativity became hard to distinguish from truth.

In relativity, if “space bends”, what is the definition of “straight space” so as to know what “space bends” really means? Without a clear definition of straightness, “bent” doesn’t really mean anything yet leaves a connotative impression of reality and thus is often accepted anyway along with “Those smart people over there understand the details, so we need to just listen to whatever they say”.

In quantum physics a wave function is given physical reality status and said to cause physical behavior even though it is merely a statistically derived graphic plot of a particle’s path of detectability. It is like saying that the ideal form we refer to as a perfect circle is what causes things to be round (association is not causation). The meaning of being physically real gets obscured into “Thought is the substance of reality that causes all things and there is no physical reality outside of thought”. Such is the product and aim of the Quantum Magi (such as Niels Bohr and Plank). “Reality is whatever I can convince you into believing” (aka Magic).

Both hide causality, leaving room for manipulation and plausible deniability.

And Resolution Debating is an item by item sorting through any proposed reasoning left publicly available for scrutiny and updating by any contestant (Open Source Rationale).

The combination of Definitional Logic, Empirical Falsification, and Resolution Debating (“Rational Metaphysics”) yields a growing mountain of unquestionable truth along with many (if not all) alternative methods of reasoning to be used as the context might prefer. There isn’t merely a single truth, but rather a mountain of varied ways of understanding existence so as to fit the application at hand (like having many languages for different applications). Both Relativity and Quantum Physics have their limited uses, but cannot ever be “the truth”.

RM: Affectance Ontology is a “complete truth” in that it reveals every “why” concern from the concept of absolute nothingness up to all of the observed behaviors in physics as well as all fundamental psychological, sociological, and economic behaviors although not totally fleshed out yet with common concerns or filled in with the current status of events.
